As many of you have probably experienced already, we have been battling a large amount of spam bots on PCM.daily over the past couple of years, and recently, the numbers seem to have increased even more.
To prevent these bots from registering and logging in, we have now put some measures in place. The most notable measure is the Cloudflare object that is now part of the login form. In most cases, this object is capable of automatically determining whether a visitor is a spam bot or not. In rare cases, you may have to check the box manually to validate that you are not a bot.
If you happen to have issues logging in following these measures (and you are not a bot), please reach out in this form.
Voting for the PCM.Daily Awards 2022 is now live! Thanks to all your nominations, we've once again compiled worthy lists of nominees for each category. You can find all threads with the respective polls in the 2022 Awards sub forum.
The deadline for casting your vote is this upcoming Sunday, January 29th, at 23:59 daily time. Every vote counts, so make sure to get yours in in time!
With 2022 in the rearview mirror, it is once again time for the PCM Daily awards! Time to recognize the people who make this site the amazing community it is, and to reminisce about the year in the real cycling world. The recipients shall have their names ring out for posterity.
As always, we must first go through the nomination phase. You may nominate up to three users/races/projects/etc. for each award category. If you can't think of 3 nominees for each category, that's no problem. You may place fewer than 3 nominations for a category, or skip categories entirely. Of course, we encourage you to nominate for as many categories as possible so your voice is heard and we have enough nominees for each award.
Then, once all the nominees are in, we will transition to the voting phase. Each category will have a thread posted in the awards subforum, and you may vote in the poll there. Note, results will be hidden until the voting period closes. Then, after voting closes, the winners will be revealed, along with their unique signature banners.
Over in the Management Game Betting system there will be a range of bets available for the next week, for the Keirin event of the MG Olympics.
6 riders, an unknown format, one winner per race. You could just roll a dice to decide who to bet on, or actively look up rider stats in the relevant 2021 Excel database.
