PCM.daily's Database Team is happy to welcome a new member to the team. SpartacusCancellara will join the team to aid with the graphical work. He might not be the most well-known member of the community, but he has shown that he has great potential and we have given him the chance to improve himself over the past weeks. Now, he has reached the level necessary to be able to contribute to the team's great databases.

Following the success of the beta programme for the 2016DB earlier this year, PCM.daily's Database Team has decided to start a new beta programme for the Expansion Pack 2016.

We will select a limited amount of members that will receive a beta version of the Expansion Pack. These members will need to execute specific tasks and report any problems and bugs they will find along the way.

The beta will be divided in two parts, an early beta and a pre-release beta. You can expect to have most features ready in the early beta, which will be ready in about a week, but they will be far from finished. For example many graphics (like NC jerseys, accessories and race leader jerseys), races and equipment models will be added after the early beta. These changes will (hopefully) be ready for the pre-release beta. The pre-release beta will most likely be ready halfway through August. Both betas will have a timeframe of about 2 weeks. We prefer members who will be available for both betas, so from now until the end of August.

We can't tell how much time we'll need between the pre-release beta and the actual release of V1.0.

Keep in mind that the beta will probably contain a lot of bugs. The purpose of the beta programme is to find and solve these bugs, so we can have a 99% bug-free stable release.

Cyanide, through an official message on the Steam community, let us know that the Stage Editor is almost ready and it will be possible, for a few people, to test it in the next couple of days. They are also gathering feedback about it, so it might be your chance to ask them to improve it under certain aspects. This is their message:

Following Cyanide's release of patch 1.2.0.0, PCM.daily's Database Team released update V0.3.0 for the Expansion Pack Lite.

The update fixes the compatibility issues with patch 1.2.0.0, which caused the "Generating young riders" crash. The update also adds some new graphics, including the new jerseys for Giant - Alpecin and Orica - BikeExchange. The entire changelog can be found here.
