Similar to last year, the participants will get at least one specific task assigned, which you'll need to perform. There are 8 different tasks:
- Testing a WorldTour career - Testing a ProContinental Tour career - Testing a Continental Tour career - Testing a custom team career (assigned to either WorldTour/ProConti/Continental) - Testing a Pro Cyclist career - Testing ALL races in one-off-race mode - Testing rider regeneration and development (realistic?) - Testing for missing/wrong graphics and equipment
Each task has a list of mandatory actions, to make sure that every feature of the game and our database gets thoroughly tested for bugs or surreal behavior.
In the application form you'll get the opportunity to choose for which tasks you'll be available. Remember that the chance that you'll be selected will be higher if you choose more tasks.
Next to the choice of tasks, you'll need to fill in your availability in the next 2 months. You also need to fill in your Skype username, because we use Skype as our main communication platform.
If you're selected, you'll receive a private message on PCM.daily with the specific details of your task. Only the selected members will receive a message.
As we expect to receive many applications, just like last year, we'll probably need to refuse some of the applications. The applications that got refused last year, will most likely (depends on your availability and the tasks you're willing to execute) be accepted now.
Last, but not least, a very serious note. During the beta programme for PCM.daily's 2016 Database for PCM2015 there were four members that were selected, but never actively participated in the programme. These members won't be selected to participate in the beta programme again. When you're applying, you have to be 100% sure that you'll be able to participate and you have to give us feedback about everything irregular that you'll find! If you're selected for the beta, but not participating, there will be consequences!
