Stages and Graphics for PCM 2015
Usual business with the PCM 2015 Forums to flourish with the newest game still dominating the website. In addition to the most popular Be a Pro discussion, we do have some interesting threads appearing in other sections:
- Stages: Real routes for Tour of California, Utah and the Giro del Trentino can now be found in Johan92 Stages. Also last year's Stagemaker of the Year will focus on creating 2015 races yet lacking original profiles - go and check Margh Norway's Stages. Also Stages by MC are worth a look, with a couple of real races and a fantasy Amstel Gold Race available.
- Graphics: With anderspcm, a well known face is back in business! Who ever's interested in accessoires will enjoy his work. People looking for their own fantasy shirt being made, go and see bwiggins' work.
Databases for PCM 2015
Of course DBs will be the most awaited mods for PCM. Several members present their ideas and plans in PCM 15: Databases and we do have a few downloads available. FDBRealname2015 and RSM-news DB 2015 as maybe the most notable yet. As for historical DBs, we see our usual suspect coming up with Sali's 1996 DB.
And speaking of databases, we do have to mention the most important of all. A Daily DB announcement has been published and you guys should watch out for more news on that this weekend.
(Story) Games
PCM.Daily Big Brother's Season #2 is well underway, with brewers90, knockout and Jesleyh as the trio fighting for the championship. Speaking of champions, we also had PCMDaily's Favourite Cyclist (Season #6) just finished: Thibaut Pinot vs Zdenek Stybar competed against each other in the Final. Check the results by yourself.
EPIC had a busy week, too: Peter Sagan as the most outstanding performer, winning a thrilling Ronde van Vlaanderen to then add a victory at the Brabantse Pijl. Especially Shonak's report for the RvV is worth a read.
The always popular fantasy cycling game has also being launched today: Velogames Fantasy Tour de France!

ManGame Madness
Pure madness with the traditional early season double-header in the ProTour on the menu this week: Tirreno-Adriatico (won by Daniel Martin/Aker-MOT) and Paris-Nice (won by Edvald Boasson Hagen/Aker-MOT) made our member ember a happy man these days.
Some more results from the Pro Continental Tour: Danny Summerhill crushed the competition in a tough cobbled classic - the inaugaral Kigali GP in Rwanda. Kristjan Koren delivered in Germany, when taking a surprising but deserved win of the Bayern Rundfahrt. Alberto Contador took the Volta a Catalunya by just 4 seconds on Florentino Machado, robbing Martijn Keizer the GC-lead on the final stage! The next races are already underway.
Thread of the Week
A few obvious threads: Be A Pro Discussion, Daily's Favourite Cyclist or the TDF pre-race talk probably would have deserved another mention here. And so they got one. As for the TofW, I'm going for the 2015 National Championships Thread though: always fun to check some weird results from time to time. |
