Chrono des Herbiers
The 15th edition of the Chrono des Herbiers once again brings the top PT time-trialists in to a head-to-head battle. 48k of flat terrain ridden twice to determine the best TT’er in the PT. Last year Würtz broke Phinney’s 5-year winning streak. The American will want to get his title back both for pride and to keep his team rolling towards another PT title.
The maximum startlist here 24 teams, 3 riders each 72 participants. The top guns among those are:
Rider | FL | TT | RS | Würtz | 77 | 83 | 78 | Phinney | 73 | 83 | 74 | Zmorka | 74 | 82 | 75 | Wirtgen | 73 | 81 | 75 | Mullen | 75 | 81 | 74 | Vlatos | 72 | 81 | 71 | Ganna | 76 | 80 | 81 | Yatsevich | 70 | 80 | 81 | Sütterlin | 71 | 80 | 77 | Dillier | 70 | 80 | 77 | Lammertink | 74 | 80 | 76 | Viennet | 72 | 80 | 75 | Howson | 71 | 80 | 74 | Cattaneo | 70 | 79 | 80 |
Other than aforementioned duo the other top contender is Zmorka, who won in 2015.
The rest are somewhat weaker. Ganna will hope for a strong performance to minimize Isostar’s point gains and has the best secondary stats among the contenders. While Yatsevich would probably be happy with a repeat of last year’s third. Wirtgen and Cattaneo, along with Phinney, represent the GC riders. But in this race their will be no mountains for them to deal out the damage to their one-dimensional competitors.
Los Pollos bring a second contender in Sütterlin, they need big points to stave off relegation. Polar also have two contenders in Mullen and Viennet.

Thanks for the preview, Ulrich. Really hope we can get a podium here. Not to save us from relegating, just to save our face a bit

Wildcard race so no pressure. A good result for Cattaneo, development for Stöckli and a farewell for Coppel.

A top 10 for Lammertink will be a good result here, seeing the startlist. Fingers crossed! |

Per tradition, we dont have anything for us here with a lvl1 rider, a lvl3 rider and a min wage dom that was signed to give another team cap space for another target as our terrible trio. So instead, we are gonna cheer for Phinney, wildcard teams and everybody who is far away from the relegation spots
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Podium place, top-10 from Sütterlin and Keizer only just missing out of the top-10. This is definitely a good result for us. Happy with that.
Congratulations to tastatol and thanks for the detailed TT, Ulrich

What a second leg from Goldstein and a very bad one from Howson. Duolingo are still in front of us though after Deutschland and San Sebastian so Grosu and Gerts need a better autumn than the spring they had if we are going to survive.
Not a fan of trying to stay up at the expense of Gustav and roturn, but what you gonna do

Are we sure Coppel and Cattaneo didn't accidentally switch numbers? Combined they would have been fifth.
If not, what an awesome farewell for Coppel, even though he failed hard the second leg that performance in the first leg is one of huge class.
Cattaneo disappointing even though the second leg was fine, glad there weren't any points on the line. Stöckli did not finish last.
Thanks for the report UU and congrats tastasol!

Thank you for the report and details!
Mighty impressive second leg from Würtz, congratulations, tastasol.
A very poor TT for us, with Lammertink outside the top 20. We move on! |

Awful result, after everything looked so well after the first leg with all three of my riders in the top 20. All three dropped out of that with van Baarle in 21st as the best and Leung even falling from 8th to 35th. Very disappointing. Thanks for the report, Ulrich and congrats tastasol on a quite comfortable win! |

Damn down with the King, there is a new one in the building. Congrats to tastasol for slowly taking over the TT crown after loaning it to me for a (Phinney) time.

Must admit that I was a bit bummed at first when I saw Vlatos' performance - But ending up 5th in the end is definately satisfying. Vlatos haven't had a good season, but he still managed to get enough points to get the first ever greek "Titan" rank now, with more than 3000 points scored during his career!
Congrats on the win to Grieg, and thanks a lot for the report!

What a 2nd leg from Würtz. Amazing to see him finding so much speed there and taking down Phinney. A great couple of weeks for him lately and this is certainly the icing on the cake.
Thanks a lot for all your congratulations and thanks for the report, UU )

Congrats tastasol, mighty impressive performance by Würtz, maybe keeping the PT fight open just a little bit longer. Happy for LPH and their good result, too!

A really good second leg made up for Ganna's underperformance on the first one, I'll take 6th overall.
A good Top20 by Politt as well for solid points here.
Congrats to tastasol! It's always special to dethrone Phinney. Thanks Ulrich!
