5 races took place in the PT division with the Ronde Van Vlaanderen being the 2nd monument of the year. Other than that two PT stage races in Praha - Karlovy Vary - Praha and the Ronde Van Nederland as also PTHC classics in Strade Bianche and E3 Prijs.
So the cobbles slowly start, which usually sees teams like Moser moving ahead due to Bewley.
The Ronde indeed was a Bewley event seing him dominate and score big there. Tinkoff and Grieg with important points as they were close to relegation and also Evonik/Indosat will climb. Gazelle and Generali remain in the top area as well.
E3 again had the name Bewley in the big score and once more Evonik, Generali, Gazelle again with decent scoring as well.
Air France and T-Mobile other teams that did decent in the cobbles.
Strade Bianche for the puncheurs and Evonik being the best here with only Indosat, Isostar and T-Mobile over the 100 point mark as well.
Coming to the stage races. Praha was a TT heavy event and so Grieg, Generali, Puma, Ea Vesuvio are the high scoring teams while the Ronde van Nederland was sprinter heavy with Kennaugh topping it for Air France with the biggest score of the month (well +1 to Grieg`s Praha run).
Bennelong, Aker, Aegon and Podium Ambition also more than 300 points. Last team actually indeed had a podium run in those 2 stage races alone!
The month total goes to Grieg with 935 points followed by Air France and Podium Ambition.
Moser focussing on the cobbles alone here with very good 633 points while Generali at 600 also did well.
Further down Farfetch, SPAR, Repsol and Fablok not having their best month.
| | Team | P-KV-P | Ned | Bia | RVV | E3 | Total | | 1 | | Grieg - Maersk | 515 | 197 | 0 | 223 | 0 | 935 | | 2 | | Air France - KLM | 55 | 516 | 0 | 116 | 63 | 750 | | 3 | | Podium Ambition | 293 | 317 | 0 | 111 | 0 | 721 | | 4 | | Moser - Sygic | 50 | 45 | 0 | 337 | 201 | 633 | | 5 | | Generali | 318 | 40 | 0 | 164 | 78 | 600 | | 6 | | Evonik - ELKO | 40 | 77 | 174 | 171 | 119 | 581 | | 7 | | Gazelle | 237 | 45 | 0 | 190 | 82 | 554 | | 8 | | T-Mobile | 138 | 94 | 102 | 109 | 106 | 549 | | 9 | | Bennelong - Mitchelton | 135 | 363 | 0 | 10 | 0 | 508 | | 10 | | Aegon - Lavazza | 136 | 327 | 0 | 35 | 5 | 503 | | 11 | | EA Vesuvio | 314 | 137 | 17 | 30 | 0 | 498 | | 12 | | eBuddy | 84 | 287 | 0 | 80 | 0 | 451 | | 13 | | Team Puma - SAP | 317 | 59 | 0 | 55 | 4 | 435 | | 14 | | Aker - MOT | 72 | 328 | 0 | 35 | 0 | 435 | | 15 | | Team Tinkoff | 118 | 5 | 41 | 268 | 0 | 432 | | 16 | | Festina - OAKA | 68 | 165 | 88 | 89 | 0 | 410 | | 17 | | Indosat Ooredoo - ANZ | 56 | 56 | 129 | 164 | 0 | 405 | | 18 | | Isostar - LimeBike | 141 | 53 | 111 | 37 | 60 | 402 | | 19 | | Farfetch Pro Cycling | 113 | 85 | 90 | 40 | 0 | 328 | | 20 | | SPAR - Siam Cement | 160 | 78 | 0 | 45 | 31 | 314 | | 21 | | Repsol - Netflix | 110 | 105 | 0 | 44 | 0 | 259 | | 22 | | Fablok - Bank BGZ | 64 | 54 | 0 | 35 | 0 | 153 |
The full ranking sees some swaps at the top.
Air France closely passing Moser for the lead. They are just 12 points ahead now with Boasson Hagen/Kennaugh being their main scorers but also Sicard did well.
Generali drops to 3rd but remain a pretty solid team. Gazelle and Aegon remain top5 but change their positions.
eBuddy and Puma the other teams who already passed 2000 points. First though having the better PPRD ratio not having had a lot of PTHC yet. But in general it`s super close as so many teams are still around.
At the bottom Farfetch remain last and slowly getting a gap. Repsol drops just above while Vesuvio, Indosat and Tinkoff are under the line as well. Later at least got some scoring lately.
Fablok the last safe team but also SPAR or Aker far from being safe.

With the cobbles starting, Bewley takes the lead as usual. Grosu on a huge 2nd being the best regular sprinter followed by Ewan, Groenewegen and Swift.
Wisniowski up to 6th showing his allrounder skills while Kennaugh at 7th also had a great start in a rather sprinter friendly spring.
Boasson Hagen being the best puncheur while Herklotz as best stage racer already in 9th followed by some more sprinters in Coquard and Howard.
Ponzi, Sagan, Gesink, Spilak to follow. Surely riders with great chances to improve later.
Biggest jump from Phinney, who has now started his season as well and up to 23rd with small race days.

Something seems off about these pprd and projected points since the division is usually won with 8000 points? Thank you roturn for compiling this again regardless.
We hoped Stüssi's Praha breakaway adventure would kickstart our motor going into the Herklotz Giro, but in the end it was the only saving grace of this stretch.
Demare still has an exciting GT to look forward to and only 7 race days to his name, but going from winning Nederland last season to barely getting more than minimum points this season is an issue.
Seeing him on less than half of the points total as all the other 82 sprinters bar vdLijke is quite ridiculous, 4th 7th and 11th for them should not be where they stand at this moment and sees Aegon and Bennelong breathing down our neck more than I expected.
The Top 9 plus Grieg with Phinney look to be the likely Top 10 candidates for the season so far, and if we are to achieve our goal of Top 5 at the end of the year, we must create a gap to most of them in the Giro by finishing at least second in scoring there.
It'll be especially important to score better than Generali in the direct duel with Gesink there, even though they should've see their best stretch of the season end after it with most TT and cobbled events done by then.
A hypothetical 5th place overall would mean we can afford to let go Air France, Moser, Gazelle and one of the three teams with an 84 climber right behind us.

Haven't calculated the pprd, but I guess the GTs really kill the pprd for most?
A great update for us! A solid step out of the relegation zone, and our goal for a top 10 now looks realistic. Though, the cobbles season is almost over and we have some GT action coming where I don't expect much, so it can change a lot until we come to Phinneys next race.
Love to see Wisniowski all the way up at 6th place. Thanks for the update!

Horrendous month for us. Especially the cobbles, where Polanc had an off day at the Ronde. I can't believe Kump still is at 150 points, that's not worthy of a World Champion. Team has to step up the game soon, otherwise well have a very long season after the Giro.

PPRD was fixed now. Got some wrong race days there. Had fixed before but apparently copied the wrong again. |

Looking good so far.
Grosu a huge point scorer so far, with the rest of the team yet to shine...

Top f*cking 10 in the PT I know we're still going to relegate, but damn to even reach the Top10 after more than 1 month feels like a great season

We need points quickly, and this month will be crucial with Giro for Alarcon and Pologne for Kudus.
Our best rider being 45th in the Individual thanks to Vanmarcke looks awful btw

Theuns did what he was supposed to do this month, so even without any exceptional cobble performances leading up to P-R we still managed to mostly keep up the obviously unsubstainable pprd of the very first quarter of the season.
I totally expect us to steadily drop towards the middle of the rankings after the Giro. Still, it's been a fantastic debut so far. Thanks roturn!

Thank you for the update!
We had to expect to continue to fall down the rankings, but this is hopefully were it turns, as we're counting on Swift to deliver us stage wins and the Giro, and thus compensate and maybe more for the upcoming Ardennes, where we'll suffer again regarding the rankings.
That was at least the thinking before the season started, and hopefully it works out. If it doesn't, I fear we'll be in big trouble regarding the fight to avoid relegation, as then there'll only be a GT for Taaramäe, and that's almost about it. No pressure, Swift!
Looking at the fight at the very top, I still fancy Puma a lot, despite cio doing his best to talk down their chances They're actually only 400 points behind Moser. Last season they were 760ish points behind starting April, counting Demare's win in Nederland and up until RvV, before the GTs started. In other words quite comparable regarding what races has been done and what is to come. Obviously they'll miss Kelderman in the Ardennes, but on the other hand we've already had a hilly classic and a stage race, and compared to last season, that can't really be seen looking at their total points. |

Yeah. I'm quite frustrated with this PCM version too (except on the cobbles).
At this point I just hope that i won't relegate this year...
