The new managers are revealed, though applications can still be made, so the list could be extended.
For now the new managers are:

Congratulations. You will join the Continental division.
Being accepted is only the first part. A strong activity in the game, both in the off-season and during the season are expected of all of you. Last couple years some teams lost their spot due to high inactivity or didn`t even made it into transfers/season start. So don't take anything for granted now that you are in!
The first step is to confirm your team name and sponsors, which you can do in this thread: https://pcmdaily....rowstart=0
Fill it in as all others are doing, and just put "N/a" under the 2018 Name section.
A note on sponsors. You can't pick a sponsor that is already being used, or was used last season. You can see last year's sponsors from the 2018 List, but check the thread above too for any new sponsors being chosen by teams.
Your team will need a jersey for PCM18, and once ready that needs to be uploaded to the 2019 ManGame section of the Shirts Database. Notice that at the moment there is no PCM18 section, so upload it to the PCM16 section and 2019 season. https://pcmdaily....;year=2019
You can then post a Team HQ thread in https://pcmdaily....rum_id=96. But first, try to think about what you want to put in it. Don't start spamming the HQ forum out of excitement, its your first chance to prove you`ll be a good manager for the game!
Please do not suddenly post in a lot of Team HQ threads declaring interest in riders they might have. And certainly do not make any offers for riders. This is banned for all teams until the start of the transfer season, when there will be plenty of time for such moves. Transfers will require some careful planning - not wildly charging in trying to sign every single available rider.
Everything else in the off-season will follow in due course, and be announced in this MG Announcements forum or the General CT forum. A vague order will be: Reveal of racing calendar; selection of team goals; transfer season; selection of C1/C2 races; filling in rider race planner files; start of the season with the first race. However there is no timescale for when these will happen. Impatient posts asking about timings are not appreciated. |

It is pre-renewals though.
Which means, some statgains are missing, not all talents have updated stats and some riders will be Free Agents post renewals.
Next update then will be post renewals, which hopefully is more or less equal to the final transfers DB already. |

I do have an idea of a team name; however, I'd like to ask a question regarding this:
Except for offensive team names, are there any restrictions? Names of regions should not be an issue; however, can I use any company name, or have there already been troubles with companies not being happy about this? I mean, it's a virtual game, but some companies (or their lawyers) are known to be not very tolerant... |

The first part is relatively difficult as you start from scratch, but it's a good learning curve to take on the free agency from absolutely nothing, rather than going into the transfermarket with trades, renewals etc. also. So Good luck to all of you!

Name has to be a reasonable length (can't recall the exact limit from memory). No special letters (no accents or umlauts etc).
We've never had any issues here with companies (only one small incident on twitter a few years ago), so throw in whatever you like.

There has never been any issue in the past with with the use of company names. I think the reach of our game is so little that there's no risk of that happening. The only restriction about team names is their length. For instance a team named "Track this thread Print ThreadThe Melancholy of Cillit Bang - IT-Factory powered by The Moon X" is just too long and raises a lot of annoyances. Other than that you're ok
