Welcome to Namibia one more year, to the anual timetrialing fest of the CT division. It's the 6th edition of the Windhoek ITT, but it'll be the first with the new format that will be used in all "One-Day TT races" across MG
The format is as follows: Instead of just 1 race, the riders will have to do 2 timetrials in succesive days, with the times being added, GC-like, and the riders with the least time will be crowned as Windhoek ITT champion
About the coverage, only the final stage will be shown live, with highlights of the previous day, with a recap of the results, being offered before the live action of the final day
| Favourites | TT | HIL | Contenders | TT | HIL | Mottin | 79 | 61 | Marchewka | 77 | 60 | Olman | 79 | 57 | Johansson | 77 | 59 | Reus | 78 | 73 | Craddock | 76 | 74 | Martin | 78 | 71 | Zoidl | 76 | 74 | Sterobo | 78 | 62 | Kreuziger | 76 | 71 | Kovalev | 78 | 56 | Grabovski | 76 | 70 | Pökälä | 77 | 71 | Bookwalter | 76 | 69 | Christian | 77 | 69 | Bouet | 76 | 67 | Downey | 77 | 67 | Cheyne | 76 | 66 | Hussein | 77 | 64 | Beukeboom | 76 | 64 | Hacecký | 77 | 63 | Burke | 76 | 60 |
We have two top favourites with Hughes Mottin and Miles Olman. They are the strongest timetrialist on paper, and anything but a podium would be a huge disappointment for them.
Then comes the three-headed Swisslion team. If Kai Reus doesn't perform, they have Tony Martin. If the German still not delivers, they have another shot with Ivan Kovalev.
Rasmus Sterobo is the remaining 78 rider, riding for Compal. Rothaus brings a decent duo with Hacecky and Downey, and same can be same about Campari and his duo of Johansson and Christian. Adastra depth is great too, with 3 76+ TT guys, named Marchewka, Grabovski and Beukeboom
You can't count out riders like Pokala or Hussein too, but i guess you can always expect an unexpected rider to break through and take a big result coming from nowhere

Given our TT results so far, I think I made a mistake making this our win goal

Sterobo has a decent chance for a podium here, and if lucky, maybe he could deliver our first TT-win in the history of Compal?
Thanks for the preview, really looking forward to this race! |

Roe has been looking good lately in time trials. Hopefully he can continue this here!

Not surprised we were bad, our TT results have been up and down all season. At least Martin put in a decent time.

Chills down my spine, having a week of daily and coming back to see Mottin win here is spectacular, and a much needed win that keeps us in a realistic promotion opportunity (I assume )
Thanks for the congratz and Aquarius for the great reports!

2,6,12 is far better than we expected from this one. I was hoping for a podium and 1 top 15 and 1 top 20 so we have outperformed what I expected by a long way here.
It feels like we are having a good season but I've no idea how that is relating to points or how the ranking looks at the moment as I don't know how the other teams are doing, are we close to an update or is there still alot to do behind the scenes before we can get one?
