Press Conference #1
Welcome, Welcome everyone!
We're proud to introduce you to the official Ahold-Delhaize Cycling Team!
We'll be entering the Continental Tour where we hope to become a well-respected team and a challenging opponent to the other teams.
We're currently in the middle of our scouting process and we hope to be able to announce our first riders soon. We are looking for both young local talents who we can help develop into experienced riders and experienced veterans that can help by developing our more inexperienced riders and by achieving good results for the team. We are also looking for a clothing sponsor to create our jersey. Anybody who has riders that they'd like to offer or who has interest in become our clothing sponsor can feel free to contact me.

I will be looking forward to see how things pan out for you. One good advice though. Take your time, and don't jump into panic mode if things don't turn out as you figure. Taking your time is often the best tactic - especially for a new team

We're starting of with a local rider:

Barry Markus is very happy to be able to ride for a Dutch team and on a level were he can perform better than in the PT. We are very happy to have signed him too, especially for this wage and at his age. We feel like he can be a great help for setting up other sprinters or being our lead sprinter in some smaller races.
Next up are two riders who already know each other, and the CT, from last season:

Both riders come from Kulczyk - DMTEX, who on their debut season immediately promoted to the PCT. We're hoping that they can perform just as well on our team. Hochmann can be both in the sprint train or a lead sprinter and Hacecký will be one of our Time Trialists as well as a domestique in flat races.

Jack Bauer is already quite old but we hope that, after a succesful season in the PCT last year, he can have a good ending to his career in the CT at our team. His role will be pretty alround. He can be a domestique in flat or hilly races, go into escape groups and ride in our TTT team.

Nice to see you already getting some good signings, very cheap also. Nice leadout setup you already have, already good, if you manage a top sprinter you'll dominate the CT sprints
