Hello,
I am wondering few things :
- Is it possible to increase the number of national teams ? (i think no, sadly :/)
- Is it possible to merge few countries in one national team ? (I did it few years ago, but i don't know if it is still possible without bugs)
- Is it possible to add a national team to a race ? (which happens often in the real word)
- How much riders can be in the world championship without the game crashing ?
- Last but not least, is it possible to add U23 races (i guess yes)
It is very sad that young talented riders can raise but can't be ever World Champion or not detected by U23 races because of their countries...
I also noticed that most of national teams don't reach the maximum riders they could have
(Italy have 6 instead of 9, Colombia 4 instead of 7, ...)

1. No there's a hardcoded limit of 26 teams.
2. I can't think of any counter indications, you should be able to do it again.
3. Nope.
4. 200 should still be the limit.
5. You can, just add the race as either a ncup race or a .2u race.

About questiom 2: At least in PCM 15 it was not possible. I tried to merge all African countries in one team, South Americans in other, and so, and only the first country (alphabetically) riders were able to be selected.
I haven't tested it in PCM 17, anyway

I don't think that's the way Toarzo wants to do it though. I believe he just wants to, for instance, merge Czech Republic and Slovakia into Czechoslovakia by keeping one country and deleting another.

No, Aquarius was right about what i want, like merge all african countries in one african team for the world champ
I will try it and tell you the results
About the fact that AI doesn't select their maximum riders in World Championships, any idea why ? |

This works in PCM 17. My pro from Ecuador was able to participate in the world championships as a member of Colombia. All I did was edit STA_country changing the fkIDnational_team column to Colombia for Ecuador. I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I did this before starting my career. |

But what you've done is change a nation for another, that is obviously possible. He was asking about being able to put several nations into one national team

That's what I did... When I played the world championships my team was 4 riders from Colombia plus my rider from Ecuador. Maybe I'm misunderstanding. |

I deleted it right after the WC's because I was just testing to see if this worked before I started a career. This was the only line I edited though in STA_country.

Anyway, i've done a bit of testing mergin all Baltic countries into what it was Lithuania national team. In one-race mode, if I pick that "Baltic national team" i can only select riders from Estonia (as is the first alphabetically), but when going to pre-race screen, it shows that apart from the 3 riders that i had to pick from Estonia, there are 1 rider from Lithuania and 1 from Latvia.
Don't really know how it would work in a Career, as it would require of simulating a whole season, but if it has worked for you... If it works for all countries and not only in Pro Cyclist mode it would good, as you could make every rider to participate in Worlds, regardless which is his nationality

Change the category of the race from U23_2NCup to Cont22U in Sta_Races. This way, if you are in a Dev Team (or even in a CT team with several U23 riders) you'll be able to race Avenir like if was a normal rae
