Zuri Metzgete
The finale of the CT season is a C2HC hilly circuit race in the Canton of Zurich. On paper the climbs look reasonably difficult, however past experience tells us that a reduced bunch sprint at the end is also very possible. With many teams looking to work their way into potential promotion spots here, a very exciting race should be in prospect.

Never underestimate Marc De Maar. This race will be his last stand before decline. He better have at least an attack to show for it at the end. Go Marc go!

My crappy calculations put us 12th right now, 6 points behind cycleYorskire and 31 behind Sauber. The preview puts us well the favourites for 10th still but with the minor placings power but Sauber's team are still scary and it's a flat finish to a hilly race so by past experiences we won't make 20 points. But what the hell, it's the last day of the season, why bother predicting Wish Jams was here

The flat finish won't suit Klemme so fingers crossed for an attack.
Good luck to the promotion contenders.

Exciting finale.
For the individual title it's easy. Barbin wins and he overtakes Tcetcov. If he's 2nd or worse he'll stay 2nd in the standings.
For the main crown in the team standings there's still some work to do. I'd guess Podium Ambition took about 90-100 points in America del Sur so we can't rest on our laurels. There about 30-40 points ahead right now I think. Thought they would line up here aswell so obviously this should be doable with them not here. Kraftwerk is out of it I think unless something drastic happens.
Honestly we have 5 of the 10 best riders here so no excuses. Saved the strongest lineup for last. Perfect ending would be Barbin winning ofcourse.

Kudos to all the reporters for getting us here - last day of the regular season!
WCC hopes are on either a good presence in the break, or a bit of a surprise from RG (although one of the top climbers, the flat finish really does not suit him). Would be a surprise if a rider in the pale blue of Ferrero didn't take the victory, and with his comprades wrap up the CT crown.

Well De Maar got blocked in in the finale. It's a shame, but that's the breaks. Happy to see Soren in the break on his final race with us. Congrats to MOL and thanks to jph for the report!

Congrats to MOL for the win and Ferrero for 3 in the top 6 and the CT crown.
The team got Klemme close enough to the break and he did what I asked and attacked so no complaints, he just didn't have the legs to stay in front of the bunch sprint. Bit of a disappointing end to a fantastic season.
Thanks to jph for the report.
Can't believe it's over, it only seems like yesterday Ruby the cat was planning the season .

Great way to end the season even if Barbin misses out on the individual crown. Attacking once again and up there in the sprint just missing out. Congrats to MOL for the win!
The full focus on the hills paying off once again with 3 in the top 6.
Thanks to jph and all other reporters this season!

Well, I got what I asked for/expected - Mraouni makes the BotD, and RG grabs a top 10 in his last race as Colombian RR champ.
Thanks to jph for the report, and congrats to the (usual and not uexpected given CT2016 experience to date good peformers here in Switzerland at the last race of the season.

What was that guys? Why would you wait for a sprint when you're gonna lose?

Unfortunately that wasn't a very good home race for us to end our season on, the guys seemed tired after a long season there and must be looking forward to the off season break.

Urgh! What a none result from us in this race! Was a terrible result last year, and worse this. No more RDs for Dowsett meant we go with a much weakened b team and it wasn't good enough...
Thanks for the report jph!
