GAME HISTORY

Hello, I will be your host again, jseadog1! I am proud to announce season 3 of Big Brother after the success of S1 & S2!
This competition is like no other, as week by week houseguests will be involved in competitions and nominate each other as well as vote each other out for eviction!
THIS IS AN INDIVIDUAL GAME, HOWEVER, ALLIANCES AND CHATROOMS ARE PERMITTED, OR THROUGH PM, BUT YOU MAY NOT HELP SOMEONE ELSE DURING A COMPETITION!!!
THEME OF SEASON 3
This year the game has a theme. I will reveal a little hint now, but other than that you will find out when the game officially gets underway.
"Touring the games"
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD COMPETITION:
At the beginning of every week the HoH competition will be held. ALL MEMBERS in the game will be competing for the prize! Along with immunity for the week, the HoH will be required to nominate two of their fellow houseguests.
HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD NOMINATION CEREMONY:
When the HoH is announced they will receive a PM from me that states he must put up 2 fellow houseguests for eviction. I will then announce the results.
POWER OF VETO CONTEST:
Once the Head of Household has selected the nominated players, The Head of House, The Two nominated Houseguests and 3 other randomly selected Houseguests will compete in the Power of Veto Competition, which allows the winner to save a nominee from eviction. These challenges will be somewhat similar to the “Redemption Island” challenges, from Survivor.
POWER OF VETO CEREMONY:
When the Power of Veto winner is announced, they will PM me and state whether they wish to use it on themselves, a fellow houseguest, or for some odd reason, their opponent. If it is used, the HoH will put up a new nominee, but it can’t be the Veto winner.
EVICTION CEREMONY:
Once nominees have been chosen, every Houseguest (excluding the nominees) will be required to vote for either one of the nominees via PM. Houseguests will have 24 hours to send me their votes. Once I have received every vote the nominee with the highest amount of votes will be evicted from the Big Brother House. In event of a tie, there will be a dual quick competition.
BIG BROTHER AUCTION:
All HouseGuests entering the Big Brother House will receive $500 Big Brother Dollars which may be used in a Big Brother Auction. Auctions can happen at any time of day and will last exactly 5 hours. The rewards that can be earned in the auction can give you an advantage, but they can also give you a disadvantage. More will be explained at time of auction.
CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR:
- Once you are eliminated, you do not get back in the game!
- There are no more random challenges
- If you go 2 challenges without participating, you lose all money, if you go 3 without playing, you are evicted from the house.
- There will be 1 eviction ceremony where nobody is eliminated like last year!
JUST WATCHING?
This is for those who are not chosen or just want to watch and comment on the game. Go ahead. Just don't try to influence the results of the challenges by helping the competitors.

Just a few more notes!
1. The application period will be open for at least a week, to give you time to decide if you want to join. The game will hopefully be done sometime in March hopefully.
2. I have not set a limit on the number of players, but it likely can't go over 20.
3. I STRONGLY suggest reading some of S2 or S1 to learn how the game works, as it will go the same way.
4. If you played both of the first 2 seasons, feel free to play again!!

That I am bad at it.  - I read S1 and played S2 but all I know about the real show is that there are people in a house.
2. Did you follow or play S1 or S2? If so, why are you playing again? If no, what is making you play now?
I played S2 and I really enjoyed it so I want to play again (especially this time without getting caught in Jandal's confusing alliance with the hobbit and everybody else not on my side and Something to do with Cycleman, etc.) 
3. Can you COMMIT to being an active member on this forum through at least all of March?
Except for one week in Febuary I can commit 100%
Really looking forward to this.
Also, if accepted, are we allowed to form alliances before the game begins or do we have to wait until it starts?

You are accepted already
As far as alliances go, if the other players are confirmed you can talk with them whenever you want, if not, get them to sign up
I can't stop you or anyone from talking to one another, its encouraged anyway

John De Mol invented it, like he did every other reality show ever, the UK took it on in 2001 and it was revolutionary, then eight years later it suddenly wasn't, so now it's Z-list celebrities that everyone hates inside a house.

I've heard a lot about this, and have played in a lot of games recently, and think I can win it.

It is one of the realities on the shitty TV channel of Telecinco here in Spain... I use to hate this kind of realities on TV, to be honest...

I played both but the lack of a strong alliance meant I was eliminated early on. Or everyone saw me as a serious threat.

I will be on vacation in the last week of February, but after that I have lots of time.

Well, majorly depends on number of applicants. Monday the 15th is likely as I am busy this weekend anyway. That is the earliest but it could be any weekday next week. (I would count on Monday!)

How Challenges Work This Year
As an FYI, challenges this year for the HoH will NOT require you to be online at the time of the post, however, some veto challenges may require you to be online when you receive the PM as they will be timed. Usually this will give you 4 time options to decide from.
10:30 AM EST (3:30 PM GMT)
1:30 PM EST (6:30 PM GMT)
6:00 PM EST (11:00 PM GMT)
10:00 PM EST (3:00 AM GMT)
These options are not set in stone, but these will be the 4 general times. You should make sure that you can be active/online at least one of these times at some points of the week. (You usually also have about 2 days to choose between, giving 8 options total!)

I think so. I decided to enter for fun and ended up in the Mercedes GP team, Hamiltoning my way to the win before letting ze German take some glory in S2. My team has now disappeared, so it's back to doing it for fun.
