PCM 16 Format Graphics

Hello!
I have been testing a bit how the PCM 15 shirts (910x626) would look in now PCM 16 size (1200x826). Judge by yourself, but my opinion is that quality is not very worse...

When you enlarge a smaller picture the quality is way worse - I tried to convert 2011 HTC-Highroad to PCM 13/14/15 size and the quality was way worse.

Well, that shirt was half PCM 15 size, and PCM 15 size is not half PCM 16's one. Also, I know the quality is reduced, but is it reduced a lot?

To convert from 2011 to 13/14 or 15 thats not good at all. the difference is to big. But convert from pcm 15 to 16 its better, becayse the quality of pcm 15 shirt is very good and dont lose that much quality. But its lose some. I think the discussion will soon be over. When the pcm 16 is out there People will start produce the New size and over time the old files will be history. Just like everything thing else thats changses.

Let`s make it short. There is no real need of such thread right now.
Real team jerseys will very probable be made by jersey designers in the new format to have them without quality loss.
Fantasy jerseys can of course be converted with a bit of a quality loss, which is not that big indeed. So those fantasy stuff can still be used in PCM16. |

Yeh Like Roturn said this thread isn't really needed right now and fantasy jerseys that are made for PCM 16 may be converted but if I were you I'd change the sponsors logos to bigger ones cause they are the things that lose most of the quality in my opinion...
But we got like 5 months so yeh..

Jersey in all honor, but much more concern that races already made might again suffer in some way.
OK old stages can be used in newer versions but very often some effects do much more harm than a slight decrease of quality.
I for one can stand the the jersey is a bit worse, but don't like seing the peloton going mad and riding into VIP-stand and through crowds on the roads, as in some old stages.
This is one reason I often ask for the zcts files, since so far they had made it possible to "upgrade" stages nicely to new versions.
As we all know "creators" sometimes loose interrest in the game and "move" on. Hence without zcts files their very fine work is lost as the treasures of antiquity. (OK a bit harsh, but still)
Surely a new thread will pop up this summer along with nicer weather

Simple jerseys looks pretty good, but some of jerseys, like The Guardian, looks bad, because of many little detailes, that were created for another resolution. So, the simplier jersey is, the better looking it will recieve in new format.

Don't want to open a - useless - discussion about this since I don't think anyone will judge PCM 16 basing themselves off changed equipment sizes but:
1. I wasn't the first one to leak the jersey size as some people knew it for some weeks already;
2. I posted the accessories size simply to help shirtmakers and possibly db makers organize themselves. I'm sure more than someone is interested in making bigger size jerseys from this point already so that it doesn't take ages to re-convert loads of stuff to PCM 16 size when it's out.
I'm terribly sorry if I spoiled a major detail to anyone
