Hi all. 
I just bougt PCM15 yesterday to my collection of PCM games. I downloade PCM EP V1,5.
And now is comes the question. Why is Tinkoff Saxo driving with a Rudy helmet?
And why is the specialized bike nok black? Its a specialized SL4 and Venge alright, but the color on it is more like the kit collor.
Can that be rigth when its PCM EP. |

Hi Chass,
This could be because of a couple of different reasons. I assume you did install the correct V1.5 (the full one and not the one 'from V1.0' ) and followed the installation steps. I am not really acquainted with the EP for PCM15, so I cannot give you the exact cause. This is what I think could have gone wrong:
For the helmets it could be that the database is set up in a way that it randomly assigns helmets to the teams. What you want to check is if the other teams do wear the correct helmets. If not, it seems that my point is valid. If so, it could be that there is a typo in the database. You can assign every separate team with multiple equipment manufacturers (helmets, frames, wheels etc.). It could be that there are no teams<>helmets contracts (i.e. helmets are randomly assigned), the contract of Tinkoff is wrong (i.e. a contract with Rudy instead of Specialized) or the Specialized helmet files are incorrect. It is all fixable, but all these causes require a different solution, so see if you can get more information about this problem.
For the frames it seems the contract part has gone right. From your post it seems that either old/wrong Tinkoff frames are in-game or Tinkoff uses default Specialized frames that are recolored, which could give you frames that are much more colorful then you want. This part of your problem should be quite easy to fix. You need the Tinkoff frame files, give them the correct file names and place them in right folder. This should solve it in an instant.

Also helmets are assigned randomly in normal race mode

Thanks for your answer.
Well the other teams are driving on there right bikes. But fx Team Treak Factory bike looks not as the real team bike. It is red and white, but also a blue collor is on the frame.
Some of the teams have the right helmet, but others have not.
And I play career mode.
Maby a renistallation of it all.

Okay, for the frames the fix seems to be quite easy, changing/updating some of the frame files.
The fix for the helmets however seems to be more complicated. It looks like there are no contracts between the teams and helmet manufacturers. This can be done, given that there are enough database table rows available. You can also choose to only have a contract for your team or some of the teams, e.g. the WT teams. Depending on your progress someone can edit your save game (if you already made a lot of progress in your career and don't want to lose that) or database.
If someone from the database team could confirm my presumption, then it would be somewhat easier to solve these 'problems'.

Deksel you're right, all he need to do is open dyn_brand_contract and use Dyn_Team to search which brand each team is using from sta_brand. Remember a team can only have 5 rows in dyn_brand_contract
In this order :
Frames
Wheels
Groupsets
Helmets
Glasses

When I started to assign helmets to every team I had some trouble.
If the team had frame, wheels and gears assign the helmets became random. I might be wrong, since deleting the gears for that team everything worked.
Now that was in single-race mode, so not sure in career.
The biggest concern is of course that all those nicely created things, frames, wheels, helmets, glasses can only be 127 brands (or was it 129) all together. This makes it totally impossible to include as many of them as you wish.
So many great creations made by good equipment creators can't be used to the full.
I actually deleted the groupsets since that gave some extra helmets to my DB. Seriously thinking on deleting the 3 gears (Campagnolo, Shimano, S-Ram) too. Neither of that stuff is seen in-game, and the nice glasses have already been sacrificed in my DB.
After all frames, wheels, helmets (besides jerseys) are the best seen while playing the game. So the more the nicer IMHO
