The Tour de Pologne slowly went through the rankings down to a CTHC even. This means we will see a lot of Continental stars here and by a look on the profile it`s easy to see, what kind of riders are supposed to do well here. No mountain, no time trials and lots of hills. So the division`s best puncheurs are more or less all here going for the win.
The biggest star surely is Jose Mendes. He is the best puncheur and has won similar races in the past. His main competition comes from Lejman and Zeits. They are not much weaker than the Portuguese and/or in case of first it also means the biggest home race.
Then there are lots of riders at the start with very similar skills. So it`s hard to rate the next couple of riders. Some that possible stand out due to recent performances or a better sprint are Rabon, Vastaranta, Favilli or De Maar. All of them could go for bonus seconds here.
| Flat | Hill | Spr | | Flat | Hill | Spr | Mendes | 69 | 78 | 68 | Molard | 68 | 75 | 70 | Lejman | 62 | 77 | 59 | Gaimon | 71 | 75 | 67 | Zeits | 69 | 77 | 64 | Favilli | 71 | 75 | 76 | Acevedo | 69 | 76 | 63 | Der | 67 | 75 | 68 | Sinkewitz | 68 | 76 | 50 | Khalilikhosroshani | 70 | 75 | 65 | Rabon | 73 | 76 | 72 | Stachowiak | 73 | 75 | 68 | Passalacqua | 63 | 76 | 62 | Ilias | 67 | 75 | 64 | Vastaranta | 73 | 76 | 75 | Godoy | 68 | 75 | 58 | Cioban | 68 | 75 | 64 | Finetto | 70 | 74 | 70 | Fankhauser | 69 | 75 | 70 | De Maar | 76 | 74 | 66 | Belmokhtar | 67 | 75 | 57 | Mørkøv | 75 | 74 | 74 | Kinney | 74 | 75 | 69 | Uchima | 70 | 74 | 72 |
Three stages could go to the sprinters. So it`s no surprise to see a couple of very good CT sprinters here.

If Pelucchi and Peeters can't combine for a win here, I give up!
Breakaways on the hilly stages would be nice as well.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

With some hard hilly stages you would think Mendes is the favourite, but he was here last year and only finished 17th. Got to think someone who can climb mountains will do well based on last year's GC, a mid stage attack from a decent climber/puncheur could bring home the GC. Someone like a Nieve for a suprise GC?
How will the sprints go with the top sprinters at La Tropicale Amissa Bongo? |

Hoping for De Maar to do well along with breakaways. And maybe Nielsen can mix it up in a sprint if he feels up to it.

No faith in Tolleson here, but Kinney might be able to achieve something. Points are a must...

We have a goal to win here and it might be the biggest mistake in my preseason planning xD Didn't bring Durasek here, cause I was afraid he would become the leader and I don't see the game chosing any other than Lejman as captain
Matysiak/Drujon for the sprints and Drujon can get a stage win from there. My main concern is first stage, as it seems if a race that starts with a hill, the breakaway wins the stage
Now time for Lejman Bad season and really needs to perform here, so before the race starts my dreams are all ready doomed to fail xD I predict Vastaranta to take the GC, though Stage 1 and 3 won't use the influence from the Sprint stat much.
Really interesting to see who wins and thanks for reporting Roturn

Come on Acevedo, it's time some luck went our way after a miserable mid-season so far. Forero's not here, so we should be alright.

Win goal here and 5 riders on the favourites, I've literally brought my best hill squad. If I don't win I'll be very concerned.
Thanks for the preview roturn.

When will these hilly races end?!
No real expectations here, hope to get in some breakaways and create a surprise. Otherwise, Mendes and Vastranata should clean up.

Rabon should be able to win the GC and Hochmann should be able to win 3 stages. However, I expect the stage 1 breakaway to dominate the GC and Rabon being about 3rd of the GC contenders, and Hochmann is too unpredictable. Hopefully he'll at least win one stage.

I haven't been able to follow the CT fully, but how have a rider like Vastranta done? His combination of stats should be close to godlike

This is why I always want to get into breakaways. Of course, it works today. AN uneventful day for the team.
But Langeveld. This guy is insane. He can always find a way to win.

Good to see Lejman up there, Matysiak could've won today and the AI is bugged with hilly first stages :/
Better luck tomorrow

Maybe: but he was well behind Gaimon.
So Strava follow in Bonsucro's wake by winning the first stage here, albeit in a different fashion. Luck being good to Strava, a number of break wins for them now.
Could be a good race for those 2nd and 3rd in GC atm. Considering that if we don't hear from their, mostly absent, managers through this race they will probs be ejected from MG pretty soon.
That was a strong break to be allowed to get away - stage1, Kulhavy was an outside bet for the GC before the race - he is the big danger for the GC now, will Langeveld fight well though?
- Marco - Along with Slovenia - I think Martinez did a top 5 here last season, can't believe he is missing both races to be honest! I guess he is doing ToA? |

Decided to go for puncheurs (Kinney) for these races.
Martinez has USAPCC, Venteaux and Rutas America del Sur left on his calendar. Most of his points so far came from a 6th place in Tachira, which is 10 racedays.

Disappointing to miss out on the break, especially when it stays away. Don't think we're going to achieve much beyond breakaways |

Impressive stage for Elta there, but i'm afraid because Ilias and Kulhavy never really suceeded in keeping high rankings after they goy it :/
