Hey,
In the stage I've made, I've got several cities that my roads go through, including the start and finish. The problem is that when I click rebuild cities, the cities build as if the road isn't there and in-game, the riders ride through buildings when in a city. I place the city before I place the road and if I delete the city and replace the road now, the city only builds on one side of the road. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks, trekbmc

I would recommend to place all roads before start city-building.
In some areas the stage editor can be a little fussy. When the city layout doesn't appear on one side of the road it can usually be solved by adding city-points (on the side where the city isn't created) or/and moving existing city-points.

Thanks a lot, haven't tried it out in-game but it looks like it works in the stage editor.

Definetly, first build the road and the route after you made the errors correct, then place cities and vegetation. You can preview it on stage editor as-well.

I was always told to place vegetation first and I just assumed the same was for cities.
So the road before everything else?

Figured I'd use this thread again, where do you select to make a stage a TT rather then a normal stage?

If you select the finish, or go to Route -> Sprint you can select the 'type' of finish, which is set on Classic by default, but can be modified to ITT, TTT, Sprint, Mountain ITT etc.

You can place cities before roads. You just have to use the "Use default settings/character/setup" (can't remember what it's called) tool, so that the cities adapt to the road.

Thanks for all the help everybody, have made two working stages but when I play the stage in PCM, there are no spectators, I have generated borders before exporting and have them turned on in-game.

Check the stage in CT_stageviewer.
To elaborate, there can be a few causes:
1) The audience-parameter is set to 0.00 (unlikely)
2) There are no places for the audience to stand. (Possible, if you have no cities)
3) It's raining, which I think decreases the number of spectators in the game.
