Guess who suggested that option to them? 
But yeah that was definitely necessary, planning was always a motivation killer for me and this will make it a lot faster, very awesome.

Nope, they're still 910x626 as far as I know. Unless the patch brings that, but that'd be quite weird

First day patch yes.
That happens every year and is perfectly normal.
You see, Cyanide has to send their game at 9 July(to have them in stores in-time etc.). But after that, they still have a week before release. In that week, they could still make adjustments, but obviously not to the games they already sent.
Therefore the bugs they fix in that week will be in the Day one patch

I see, somehow I had forgotten that this happened last year then.
Well, not catching a disappearance of riders in accelerated mode before release is a bit embarassing I must say, but hopefully all ppl who get the DVD version still look for online updates... |

Well they might have bigger priorities to fix, and to be fair this error was in PCM 14 as well so it is not exactly a game breaker.
It should update automatically for the DVD Version people actually. At least those with internet.

Yeah it's just that you can sometimes only see the bikes in the background, not the rider, in x4 & x8 mode.
Was only about the background riders, not the ones you focus on.
So not really major but good to have fixed.
