PREVIEW TBA
Currently in TTT:
1. OGE
2. Katusha
3. EQS
Katusha 2nd in TTT with that roster:
This is not marginal gains. This is sizeable gains.

Sky with the win....
About the Katusha squad. On level with the Orica boys, if you ask me.

Skyborg software beat OGE by less than a second. |

Ok Vorobyev is there, Zakarin Zakarechkin. But the way all of Katusha's riders are performing this season. They found something extra. |

Like salt?
To be honest I think all these guys are decent riders, and I doubt Quick Step has brought their good TTT squad, so it might be ok.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well that was a close one between GreenEDGE and Sky, instead of the usual GreenEDGE and Etixx it has been the past times it has happened. They seem to have a knack for getting involved in some real tight TTT results, although since the 2013 TDF I think they've now come out the other side the loser more often than the winner.
Also semi-revenge for losing to Bora-Argon 18 in an unrelated way, this time Sky have the result go their way. Based on the TTT you would have to say the Skyborgs are in some form, so it will be interesting to see whether the General Classification just becomes pure Sky carnage once again.

Whole team is out of contract next season.

Disappointed in Movistar sending their b-squad, almost their c-squad. But I guess they are resting and preparing guys foe the Giro.. And Ion Izaguirre didnt even participate
Also gutted about Ag2R, what a horrid performance |

Agreed, would be a shame if Nairo were to lose the race because of a poor TTT that was pretty much out of his control. Not quite sure which Nairo we'll see come Saturday, whether it will be thermonuclear Nairo from Tirreno or hanging-onto-wheels Nairo from the Basque Country, I'm inclined to think something somewhere in between. The finishing climb is pretty difficult, certainly difficult enough to create some good gaps, but I doubt he'll be able to get the minute or so he needs over Froome (unless we see Catalunya Froome of course) - gosh it's been a confusing and unpredictable season hasn't it?
Spilak in with a very good chance of a win here; he's shown good form so far this season in both Paris-Nice and País Vasco, and Romandie is seemingly his favourite race, having finished second to Froome both last year and the year before, and 'winning' it in 2010; this combined with the predicted bad weather means he stands a really good chance.

Think Alaphilippe will survive the final climb tomorrow? |

In my opinion, yes. Isn't a hard climb, it's like 9 kms at 6.5% more or less.
Guys like Albasini, Thomas and the Etixx frenchman could win tomorrow.

But we haven't seen Alaphilippe on longer climbs than 3-4 Km. I think it is very hard to predict!

He has been getting over hills in Volta Catalunya this year and previous years. Getting handful of Top 10's in stages. Close but no cigar (Purito) |

Getting taken out by the medical car!
Jesper Hansen is having some rotten luck after just crashing, fortunately back on the bike. Not looking too good for Svein Tuft at the moment too.

2015, the year car drivers and passengers completely forgot how to behave in a cycling race.

Puncture for Geraint Thomas just as the pace starts to really hotten up. Meanwhile, looks like Dan Martin has already been dropped from the pack...

The major climbing done and 7km remaining and Julian Alaphilippe is within the group of favourite. Geraint Thomas according to the GPS a whole two minutes behind lone breakaway artist Rein Taaramae, who is about 10-15 seconds in front of the group of favourites.

No idea who is in the bunch, but my guess will be Albasini. |
