Hi there!
I want to use the graphic files from the JESGD 2015 database (https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1024265) in my PCM12 game. I know that these files are not compatible with PCM12. Unfortunately, I do not know how to bulk convert the graphic files in the folder Cyclists-->Cloth-->Team properly to the right PCM12 format.
Is there anybody interested to convert the files and help me out? |

Well...err, I was kinda hoping someone would do it for me. Given I am just an old geezer with limited time and that I'm a disaster when it comes to things like this.
But when nobody is interested then I will have to give it a try. Thanks for the tip, the_hoyle.

You can do it in one big bulk, and it is done in seconds... Limited time or not, it is few clicks of a button!

Yeah yeah, a few seconds for you but a couple of puzzling hours for me. Like I said, I don't get this stuff. But I'll give it a try, just to show you I am not lazy and that smiley of yours was completely unneccesary. |

All you need to do is download and install Irfanview
-Open Irfanview,
-Click file and batch conversion/rename
-Select the what you want to do on the left hand side
-Find the files you want to convert and highlight them
-Press add and the selected files will appear in Input Files at the bottom
-Press Start Batch and the program will do it work.
If you get stuck / lost, you google what you want to do, and most of the time there is a step by step guide or a youtube video that will help you!
The smiley was for your lack of trying and expecting someone to do it for you. I gave you help with a very simple program to use, and you gave me an arsehole response, blaming age(!)

Well, on the one hand I have to thank you for your help. On the other hand you manage to ignore the fact that I wrote three times that I usually suck at this graphic stuff. It costs me hours of work even to just understand how a program like Irfanview works. Hours I sparely have. If you think that is an arsehole response, then you're the arsehole in my eyes.
So, thanks for the help arsehole. |

I gave it a try overnight but the output files are smaller than they should be (maillots are ~417 kb instead of ~556 kb). Since google didn't provide me the answer to this, does anyone know what I have to alter in the output settings? |

The .tga's converted by Irfanview are not in in 32-bit .tga format, which is the one accepted by the game. Unfortunately I don't know if there's a way to change it so that Irfanview converts it to 32-bit .tga files. The last time I used Irfanview to convert shirts from .png to .tga, there weren't many shirts so my solution was just opening them in Photoshop and re-saving each as 32-bit .tga (this was done quite fast by using shortcuts, something like 10 files/30 secs). There might be a faster way, but in that situation searching and learning the faster way probably would take more time than just doing it manually Anyway, how many files do you need to convert? I found this program on google that apparently lets you choose in which .tga format you'd like the files to be converted to, but it's only a free trial: https://www.photoelf.com/batch/convert...vert.shtml

Thanks Lluuiiggii, glad to see you are back. I coincendentally found another program that did the trick, called XnConvert. Works like a charm! (the amount of files that needed to be converted was around 1150) |

If i understood Your question right its about using the grafic files from newer games. I use Paint.net. Free program, transfer any file to my old pcm in just a second. just open the file in Paint net and rezise to 455 and enter. save as tga 32 bit. enter. then use it like a orginal maillot or tranfert if that what u want. |

Yes, and then 1150 times more. Like I said, I found a program that coverted the bulk (although it seems that not every file was converted into 32-bit, quite odd). |
