Maximum number of riders on a team

I have started a new career with  BigMat - Auber 93 in the Continental Division. I now have 16 riders, which I think is the maximum for this division. Correct me if I'm wrong.
And what is the maximum number of riders in Continental Pro and UCI World Tour? |

It's not the maximum for the division, only the maximum when making a custom team.
So I don't think there is any maximum

I think I read somewhere that is was something like 16 for Conti, 24 for Conti Pro and 36 for UCI... |

Yeah, I saw what you wrote, but cycling-manager.com was down earlier. It was up and running now, and it is says that max for Conti is 18, Conti Pro 25 and UCI 30.

Well, sorry for bringing this up again. Huge bump so sorry B U T
That guide (well it's a 2013 guide) doesn't exactly says MAX 30, 25 and 18.
It says this

I buy the WT teams have 30 riders as in real life, and having that number you can't sign more riders, but some Pro-Cont teams sometimes seems to have more than that 25 man squad.
Will the game crash with bigger numbers for smaller then WT having more than what seem to be normal ????
And even more are there a max on riders in the DB, knowing that 240 teams (2014 version) are max.
I have search for a certain answer on this max riders per team, BUT only these have answers that anyone can see really doesn't answer it to 100%.
So DB creators, what are your knowledge of this !!!!!!
Take care now that I am looking for answers in both 2013 and 2014 games.

These are the numbers that limit in the Custom team creator when you start a career. After that it's free game upto 30 where the game will then not let you sign more riders naturally. You can have more riders than that if you use an editor to add them to your team but i can't vouch for the stability of the career at that point, but it works fine for single-race mode where you just pick your 8-man squad anyway.

If I recall correctly, as tmm just said, you can play a career with more than 30 riders if you add them via editor, and everything will work just fine. You just can't do it in game. Also, the limit is 30 for ALL divisions after you're done with the custom team creation

Now that was fast.. Thanks mate.
Why I gave it a thought was that I have a rather big setup andsome minor teams do have more than those numbers, but none more than 30 riders, more like 22-24 on some Cont teams.
I have some 225-230 teams and a whole damn lot of riders.
My problems in some test runs is that everything works fine, but when I bring up a team to look at the roster in career and click on any rider IT CRASHES... Shit.
Just wanted to know if this was the mistake. Like you say instability....
