Welcome to Andorra, the only country to have more mountains than people. Not that surprising if you take into account the fact that they live trapped between the spanish and the french. Who'd wanna live there?
Five massively aggressive mountainous stages compose this small Tour. I bet none of you mini-managers can wait for the carnage that's about to unfold.
Plenty of candidates to these pyrenean climbs.
Miche gets the #1 bib, in Di Negri but they'll probably be riding for Schoffmann. The austrian is a powerful climber and is deemed as the man to beat. With Haring as co-leader/lieutenant they must have great feelings about this race.
Next we get none other than KazMunayGas, with the experienced pair of Abbas Saeidi Tanha and Viatcheslav Dyadichkin. Two great climbers who'll be a force to be reckoned with.
Guillaume Bonnafond spearheads BNP Paribas. In a team with less pure climbing prowess but with a more balanced depth they can play an important role here in Andorra.
América Movil brings the Pulido's duo backed by Héctor Hugo Rangel and Ignacio Sarabia. Their latin american style may provide some fireworks, and good things are expected of them.
Eroski brings a pretty solid team. Benjamin Noval is their leader, but their squad is much more valuable as a whole. If they can get their tactics right, they may produce a really good result here.
Let's not forget the colombians. Coldeportes brings Orozco, seconded by Calderón, Montiel and Rubiano Chavez. A terrific set of climbers who are sure to release havoc among the andorran mountains.
We have another strong team in Standard Bank. The South africans have brought a squad almost completely made of climbers. The best of them, Shiferaw, leads their bid on overall success.
The second spanish team, iBanesto.com, an historic one, also features another formidable set of climbers. Sibila Romero, the cuban, is their best bet on good result.
Taberlay (Commonwealth Bank) and Sabido (Millenium) also deserve a mention as victory candidates. Rodrigues (Dexia), Chu (Fuji), Matzbacher (Kalev), Nose (Node4-Giordana) and Casar (Peugeot) are all dangerous riders and can't be discounted as potential winners.
Many more can be named but I guess you all get the picture: almost anybody can win here! So stay with us and find out who takes home the very first Tour d'Andorra.

Looking forward to seeing how our Brasilian climber Rodrigues will do, though I hope it's not a sign of anything that the game have listed Vanthourenhout first for this race. Sure let's set our hopes on the cobbles-sprinter for this one

It's this. We should have this in the actual MG next season. |

Not the specialty for the team but at least it's great to know this is still going...kudos to you, Gustavovskiy, for backing your talk up!

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Nice to see many of you still hang around for the MMG. I'm planning on posting stage 1 by tomorrow's afternoon and then on a daily basis.
Your starvation for race reports is about to meet its end

Am excited to see the MMG back, too...
...though it's the wrong race for Zoegas.
(how on earth could they come up with that many climbs in tiny Andorra)
Need to find our luck in breakaways and get in shape for better-suited races. |

It's back!
Should be an interesting race to watch from an almost neutral perspective, as Team Kalev have practically no ambitions in the race - though hopefully Matzbacher or Suur can get into a break at some point.

Good to see Rodrigues living up to his expectations. Especially as he is one of he riders not originally in the team.
