Hey there,
I'm thinking about starting a custom team based on very young riders from the Nordic countries.
Besides getting the best trainer I can afford, what else do I have to do to have them reach their potential? Is there some sort of guide for developing talent?
Anyone care to give me some tips?
thanks
Zut

I might be wrong. But as soon as I know / as it was with recent PCM`s you just can`t do anything wrong.
Just let them ride whatevery you want and it won`t make any difference.

Take a look at 'training'. You can click on the riders name, than you can see his 'carreer' and 'info' and you can see 'training' as well. You have to give your cyclist the training with the most stars. So when you have Robert Gesink and he has 3 stars for climbing, 1 for hills and zero voor time trial. Than you have to give him 'climbing' as training. That is the maximum you can do in my opiinion. Do you understand it all? |

I think I got it Diesel, thanks.
Would be very happy for any more tips. Would love to develop the next Tour winner from Scandinavia. (well, the first, since Riis and Rasmussen...Well we don't want to go there ;-) )

As said by Diesel, take a look at the stars. A rider can`t become any better in a stat where no stars are. And every star means he can become better in that stat by ~1-3.
So his future potntial is defined at his very begining and you just have to wait/train the specific stat until he reaches his maximum there. |

A trainer helps the rider to progress faster.
