First steps with the new SE. Great improvements, am really excited... though a little unstable.
Started trying with the East Yorkshire Classic which is part of the British Cycling - Elite Circuit Series.

Yey
Indeed, I took a quick look in the SE yesterday, lots of new cool things. Graphically, PCM13 is fantastic. But some of the rest... well, we'll have to wait for patches
Is that a whole city made of 'wall blocks' (not sure if that's what they're called) and IBs? Looks great, very European-ish (at least for me ). The only thing maybe is there could be some more colors in the buildings, specially in the left of the 1st screen, but that isn't really noticeable in game.
Btw, if the SE is too instable, you can always lower the time for auto-saving

Hey there!
Jay, problem was the game creates some invisible border objects... there is still a cya-flag on the road in one of the turns. First time ingame loading of a new made stage leads to a crash. "Generate: borders" makes the SE crash, too... in some random cases....
But love the "wallofhouses"-thing and it's customisation options, which I used for the most parts of the city. Turns out that you can zoom out the camera ingame in so-made cities. The exxesive use doesn't make it more beautyful... ,but quick. Made this one in less than two hours, have never been faster.
Will try the auto-saving tweak. Right now it seems more like a "don't press this button on a special occasion-issue"...

Of course mate, the "spawn wallhouse" is one of the best things in this new editor. If you remember, a time ago we discussed about sidewalks to make towns in mountains, for example, and complete them with isolated objects... Now with this feature, that is possible to make and with very good looking. I'm sure that your towns and cities now will be better, if it is possible...
I will try to make my best with my stages, too.

@adiouk: Thanks a lot!
@Camacho:
Hell yeah, I remember this discussion. The "wallhouse-thing" is something like a dream come true for us.
I'm eager to see your PCM2013 creations! Have no doubts about quality and and amount of detail of your upcoming stages... wish all the best.

Another nice race to have converted But why do you get those nice Festina logos at the finish just because you're German, the rest of us are stuck with Focus logos

Really? Or is it because the game recognizes that it's a Swiss race and Festina was founded in Switzerland. |

There is an Allemand (Germany) folder with Festina logos in. It must think it's German - or that is what Switzerland defaults to.
Equally there are:
Spanish - AS
French - France TV, l'Equipe
Dutch - Ridley
Italian - Ciclismo
Norwegian - 2 Sporten
There are also sub folders for ASO races, Grand Tours, and Paris-Nice. |

I'd rather think it's related by game - if you look at his screens (in game, not of the SE) of the East Yorkshire Classic, which is British, it also has Festina banners

The East Yorkshire Classic banners look to me like Focus one's not Festina. |

In the SE yes, but no in game I think:

I hope to start with my stages as soon as possible. First of all I have to adapt the 2 graphic packs that I made for PCM12:
- PCM09_IsolatedBuildings_For_PCM13
- Paravalanche_Barriers_For_PCM13
Then I will start to convert the stages I had made and then I will continue with my Tour de France variant.
I love your stages, I think you are the best. That's why I chose you as the best stagemaker at the last PCMDaily awards...
Keep going with your amazing stages and it would be great to see a Margh Norway's Tour de France variant...

Great city you made there! Just a question, what is this wallhouse or wallblock or whatever it is? |
