I think the startlists are not working yet. Let's hope that Cyanide fixes this in the upcomming months. I really hate racing againts the same top 20 riders in the game in EVERY single-player tour. Contador, Froome, Evans etc. will start in every tour.
Seriously? The same top riders/leaders in every tour? Cyanide really should be able to get these things right on the original release.
It would completely take away the realism and thus also pretty much all of the fun if this is the case. I haven't been able to start play yet because i bought on steam and it still says 7 hours until unlocked(!!!!).
I can't say I have had this problem you talk about before in PCM 12,11,10 though. The game have always been smart enough before to choose different riders for the grand tours and such. F.ex if Team Sky would have Wiggins as leader in the TDF, he would not be likely to race in the giro and they would pick another rider to lead the team there. He could later appear in the vuelta though, and one leader could lead his team in both the giro and vuelta, but never all three. Not even close to enough recovery time.
Imagine how broken the World tour rankings will become in the game if the top 20 leaders participate in all the grand tours... unless they become too exhausted to perform from all the racing that is, which means the game will be unbalanced
What do you mean by startlists? What was not working in PCM12 was the user-made startlists, the game just wouldn't read them. But it looks like you're talking about the 'game-made startlists' (the riders that the game chooses for each race).
