100% sure that Sagan should be considered a favourite. My bet is on Cancellara. |

I think you have Sagan & Cancellara, and everyone else is way below those.
Leukemans missing for me. Though I haven't seen much from him yet this season, he's always there when you least expect him. I'm expecting something from Langeveld and Ladagnous as well.
So I'm guessing you accidently skipped the letter L when going through the favourites
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Ballan fell in December 2012 and is still out. He will be for quite some time. Added him on the list, now, though. |

It's a bit more than that. He's training crash in December broke a femur, his ribs, and ruptured his spleen, which had to be removed. He's only just started riding a bike again.

Degenkolb belongs into the category, though I personally would put him into , but that is probably reserved for injured riders not even participating.

If Sagan and Cancellara keep on fighting each other, someone might suprise us. |

As others, i see it as potential Sagan vs. Cancellara battle, but riders like Chavanel, GVA, Langeveld or Pozzato will try to surprise them.
Anyway if Fabien is in same form like at E3, there is no doubt about the winner.

Too bad that we can't seem to have both Cancellara and Boonen in top shape lately. And even worse that we lost de Muur. Still, this + Roubaix is usually the best cycling week of the year, so I'm ready to enjoy it.
Btw, that picture of Boom falling is from the Omloop iirc.

Ian, the incident you were thinking of with Boom's picture is probably one of these:

I didn't mean the Langeveld crash. Though that was pretty bad, too.
Boom did fall last year, I think at the start of the Kwaremont. |

I fail to understand what Pozzato and Devolder are doing in the "positive" column. Neither have produced any big results in Omloop, E3 or GW. I don't even consider Devolder a top rider for this race, as it's been years since he was doing well.
Langeveld, for example, would suit that category much better if you ask me.

I wouldn't say Hushovd is in bad shape. Specially his 9th place on the Tirreno 30% wall stage was quite impressive. Certainly doesn't look like 2011 Hushovd, but for comparison purposes, he currently has 105 points, while he had 15 in 2011 before RVV.
Also wasn't EBH sick, rather than bad form?
