The Halfords Tour Series will start the Crit Series in Europe. Several teams surely have waited for this for some weeks now.

First stop: Great Britain.

The Race

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Man%20Game/Krit%20GB%202013/4.jpg

The Crit Series will take place around Manchester and contains 2 flat and 2 hilly circuits. So we can expect a very close overall fight.

Teams

14 Teams with 5 riders each are invited to this Crit Series. Most of them will come from Europe with Great Britain, Ireland, Sweden, and Denmark. Also a team from HongKong and some teams from USA will participate. Obviously the Brits will have the biggest amount of players here.

Riders

All PT/PCT/CT managers are able to nominate their riders. If many managers want to nominate riders for a specific country, I will try to form a well balanced team with riders from several teams.
The maximum average is 72,99. This will secure that mainly these riders will participate that don`t get many chances to ride on their own in other races.

Some teams will have the chance to start as their own team. These are Pendletons (GB),ANC (GB or USA), Heineken (USA) and Sram (USA).

Points collected in these criteriums will also be added to the overall criterium ranking, which will be updated from criterium to criterium. More exact information about the overall ranking might follow at a later time.
So if you have appropriate riders, feel free to nominate.

Deadline

You have time to nominate your players until 22nd of February, 10:00 CET.

Christopher Juul-Jensen definitely wants to participate here, and hopes to deliver a couple of decent results.

Another very nice initiative, looking forward to the reports.

Pendleton's would love to have their own team:
Jonathan McEvoy
Bradley Wiggins
Tim Kennaugh
Phil Deignan
Steve Cummings

Assuming I can't nominate my other applicable riders for other teams?

roturn
You can nominate them and I might add them at the very end if there are still free spots. But first other teams will have priority then.

Btw: I would prefer if you nominate Deignan for an Irish team and make a 5 rider GB team instead.

Team WWE will field Dombrowski, if possible.

Smowz
Adil Jelloul has come back to Simply Red Bull with rave reviews of the crit series - enjoying the chance to race freelance.

He admits that things didn't go smoothly in Qatar, though has persuaded Simply Red Bull team boss Smowz that loanees Chris Opie and Erick Rowsell should apply for spots.

Opie should be a good teammate on the flat stages, with Rowsell likewise a livewire on the hilly stuff.
