I have just sent out race planners to all 15 ProTour teams I have received transfers and training information from. The planners for all other teams will follow at some point, but due to the busy time of the year, may not be for another week or so.
For new teams, its quite simple to do. Put a 1 by a rider for the race you want. See this pic as an example.
Tour de l'Avenir is not in the file. Teams wanting to ride it should check for race clashes themselves and ensure any eligible riders they want in Avenir do not get put into other races.
For ProTour: The file automatically tells you if you have a race clash, but theres no list saying which of your races clash. You need to look up these yourself, though the file will give you a hint of course, as youll know when youve gone wrong.
For ProContinental/Continental: The same should apply, but I am currently working on whether a macro will be needed to be used to updated the race clash checking, or whether it can be done automatically.
Also, do NOT play around with any of the columns - hiding/unhiding them for example - and definately don't delete any.
The deadline wont be decided until the new year, but of course, if you can send it in to SN-ManGame once completed then that will be idea;.
Happy Christmas!

To all ProContinental/Continental managers: Please post here if you are able/willing to have your planner as a .xlsm file, where the race checking function is done via a macro that you have to use a shortcut to update. (Hint: Youll get your planner sooner this way than waiting for a non-macro file for checking race clashes)

The sooner the better for me! I think we are fully capable of doing some things ourselves as well

I suppose a better way to phrase it would be: is there anyone whose computer simply cannot open .xlsm files?

If an .xlsm file is the same as the database, then yes, I can open it. |

Can open both. But will be with my family until New Year. So can`t do any work on the file until 2013. Unfortunately have forgotten all the calendar/race planning files at home. |

As the macros did work with my DB-file, I guess it will work here, too. So I'm fine with an early planner

I think every PC should be able to work with xlsm files, if not, you can always download OpenOffice.
