I think Valv and I would agree we wanted a challenge and I long term rebuilding phase to start with. But yes two shitty teams

10 minute quarters I remember playing 5 in Madden 08 in PC took too long already, so I played 4
But cool, connected careers.. such a thing should exist for PCM as well

* Drafted 10th overall in the 2011 draft
Gabbert threw for 2214 yards in rookie season,
including 12 touchdown passes. However it was the
11 interceptions that forced the Jaguars to bring in
Chad Henne to force a battle for the top spot.

2011 saw Lewis drop back down to his averages

If either of you go better than 6-10 you're playing on too easy a difficulty level.
And yes, the Viking's aren't terrible, but that's been one of the surprises of the year. I'm sure they're terrible in game.
Do the Vikes and Jags meet during the season? |

The teams meet Week 1
And we didn't want to be our favorite teams, so I chose the closest team to where I live
And dont worry about difficulty. I am not very good at this game
Should change the sliders to less CPU INT's........

Not really... This isn't PCM where the best guys are 85 rated. I think overall we both have the 2 worse teams in the game however don't quote me on that because I don't know for sure.

Maurice Jones-Drew Continues Holdout
Jacksonville, Florida - As off season training camps are in full swing, the Jaguars top running back has yet to report to the team. Talks are on going with Maurice Jones-Drew as he is unhappy with the money he is expected to receive in the final year of his contact. Sources say he is giving the team two options, give him more money or trade him to a team that will. As of now Jacksonville owner Shahid Khan is unwilling to grant MJD's request, especially after hiring new head coach Mresuperstar. We will continue to follow this development as the regular season draws near. In the meantime Rashad Jennings will lead the Jaguars rushing attack until the two sides can come to an agreement.

Good luck with this. Very interesting project. I am playing as my favourite team Oakland Raiders atm, and it is great fun to play with bad teams.
EDIT: Post 1000! You know what this means...

Player of the Game - RB Rashard Jennings
17 Rushes for 144 Yards and 3 Catches for 64 Yards
-----
Manager Comments:
Spoiler It feels good to get that first win out of the way in your first game especially against the Super Bowl champions. However the starters only played the first quarter and we really only got things started in the second half. So the starters need to step up in the upcoming weeks. And I would like to be able to name our starting QB but at the moment both Henne and Gabbert haven't provided capable of the starting job. Both throwing a TD and INT in today's game. However on the bright side Jennings looked strong in the absence of MJD still looking for a new contract.
Player of the Game - CB William Middleton
Interception Return for a Touchdown
-----
Manager Comments:
Spoiler A sloppy game of turnovers but somehow we prevailed to become 2-0, mostly thanks to Drew Brees being pulled after the 1st quarter. Jennings was less impressive so talks about MJD getting his lockout solved are high on the priority list. The QB battle saw Chad Henne jump out in front of Gabbert who threw 2 INTs early in the first quarter. Lastly the worst news of the week starting ROLB Clint Sessions went down with a dislocated hip (estimated recovery is 4 weeks). And the media quickly picked up on this ...
Player of the Game - RB DuJuan Harris
22 Rushes for 100 Yards and 1 Touchdown Reception
-----
Manager Comments:
Spoiler The wins just keep on coming, however that can be a little misleading as most of them have been won by the second and third stringers. And this game was no different. Considering the now backup RB got player of the game, since MJD is still not talking with the team, shows that the starters aren't really putting up any great numbers.
Player of the Game - CB Rashean Mathis
Acrobatic INT Against Matt Ryan in the 1st Quarter
-----
Manager Comments:
Spoiler A perfect preseason! Hey I know it doesn't mean anything but the players sure feel happy and confident. Even if the Falcons almost had an incredible comeback that included an onside kick, the spirits are high. We now get to pack our bags and head out to Minneapolis for the first real game of the season.
In player news, after an awful performance by RB Jennings (7 carries for -6 yards) talks have finally resumed with superstar MJD. Hopefully we can get something done before the Vikings game. Also ROLB Sessions, who injured himself in week 2, has been ruled out for week 1. He should be back on the field however the following week.
Quick Overview of Preseason Stats
Week 1 Starter: Blaine Gabbert
