I needed something to do so I decided to make myself a 2012 database with the correct teams and riders. I thought I might as well share it once I complete it.
Disclaimer:
V1 will be quite primative and that's why I'm calling it a MiniPack.
If you want a "good" database, this is not for you. The shirts, in particular are rather offputting due to time constraint. Hopefully the rest will be acceptable quality.
Anyone is welcome to improve the shirts or any other aspect of the Db. I will re-upload it and they can take full credit for that.
If time permits, I will consider improving the pack into something more worthwhile, or else converting it into a 2013 database.
Features:
- 59 Teams for 2012 season
- All kits, logos etc.
- All riders updated, created, or deleted as necessary (stats and info)
- All rider photos (probably in V2)
- Year 2012
- Fully interchangeable with Original Database
- Minimal editing should mean faster download and no crashes

What is probably best is for me to hammer on with some of the main work over the next couple of days, and get an idea of how much has to be done overall. And then I can get an idea of who is best helping with what |

Any more (WT) races that anyone can offer will be very helpful. I probably won't be working on the race calendar for a while yet, but the more the merrier!

You can get the shirts from shirt database, only minishirts need to be made, but these are optional (at least for me). |

The problem is that I'd read several times that shirts stopped working for PCM09 after 11 or something? Minishirts I can get done fine once I have the shirts.
As an update, progress has been stinted thanks to me being ill last week, and then my internet cutting out for two days. Nonetheless, I have completed the team rosters with all riders now present, which is the first pain-in-the-ass.
The second pain-in-the-ass is the team stats. To save time, I'll base these on a pre-existent DB, likely the pcmdaily expansion. As a preference, I'll do / re-work the stats for the major PT riders.
Also, I've hit a bit of a rut with something else which I'll post after Il Lombardia... |

The problem relates to overwriting redundant countries with new ones.
Here are the tables I have over-written all (I think) of the relevant information in:
Game: STA_Country, STA_TGA
Local: STA_Country, STA_Localized_String, STA_TGA
However, in game, the countries are still referred to by the 'old' country name that they over-wrote (the three-digit code works though) - I thought that "Localized_String" was what changed this? And also I'm unable to get the flags to work despite changing the file-name in STA_TGA to the relevant code.
I can add more detail / screenies if necessary. It's got me stumped, so I hope someone with more experience can help out |

No, all shirts from PCM08-12 work in PCM08-12. The thing is that the rider model has changed in PCM11, so the sponsor placements and etc have changed as well, so PCM08-10 shirts won't look perfect in 11-12 and vice-versa. But they work, which is what really matters imo 
You can also find some 2012 shirts made still in the 'old style' by Maximka and miggi133 iirc.
As for the roster/stat updates, wouldn't it be easier to simply convert them from a current DB, like what Maximka has done? Then you can focus more on the things that can't be converted easily, such as races).
As for the country names and flags not working, since both are related to the Local.cdb perhaps the game has overwritten your Local? I'm not sure I understand what exactly you've made, perhaps a bit more details could help

Already completed all the rosters anyway so might as well keep going I reckon (haven't converted a Db before either).

I was wondering if anyone is willing to send me the Cyanide 2012 versions of the following jerseys (or any other version, but I couldn't find any):
Acqua & Sapone, Androni Giocattoli, Bretagne-Schuller, Team Vorarlberg, Jelly Belly

The shirt of Androni is Francisco's, not Cyanide's, because he made it in PCM08-10 style. Jelly Belly is not in Cyanide's DB So I've put the jersey included in the latest PCMDaily DB (not the 2012 version I'm afraid).
