Please read this through before asking a question. The database files are attached to this post.
Many of the races are wrong. The profiles are flat and have Plouay - Plouay as its start/finish.
This means that the (correct) stages aren't in the right folders, and thus you've probably not installed the Expansion Pack / 2013 DB correctly.
Install again and make sure that the Expansion Pack / 2013 DB is installed in the folder where your Pro Cycling Manager is installed.
In Steam, that's probably something like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012.
In other versions, it's C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season/Seizonen/Saison or something like that 2012
Riders are floating and aren't using any equipment.
This means that the equipment isn't in the right folders, and thus you've probably not installed the Expansion Pack / 2013 DB correctly.
Install again and make sure that the Expansion Pack / 2013 DB is installed in the folder where your Pro Cycling Manager is installed.

I've created a custom team. In races, my riders don't use any equipment.
You need to make sure to select equipment in the screen before launching the race.
There's purple flags or purple icons in the equipment selection screen.
This means that the game isn't using the Local.cdb file that's compatible with the PCM.daily DB.
Open up the folder where Pro Cycling Manager is installed and find the fold called PCM.daily DB Backup. Inside it, there's a Local.cdb. Copy it to My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2012. Replace the existing file.
I still have purple flags after doing what's said above.
There seems to be an incompatibility issue with the Steam version of Pro Cycling Manager 2012.
Here's something that might work:
Open My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2012 and delete the Local.cdb~ file.
Open Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012\PCM.daily DB Backup and copy the Local.cdb to:
Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012\Database ... and to:
My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2012
If that still doesn't do the trick, you may need to mark the Local.cdb as read-only (right click the file -> Properties) after having copied it from the Backup folder.
There's no preview of the helmets, frames and wheels.
That was the case in the Expansion Pack. However, in the 2013 DB you will find equipment previews of every equipment part.
All the equipment is marked as bought and has equal stats/number of stars
Again, that's intentional. Teams don't buy equipment IRL, so there's no reason for them to do so in the game. In terms of stats: Since equipment has zero influence on how your riders perform, there's no reason to give individual stats to the equipment.
I can't pick the lowest brands of equipment.
You can, but not in the Career Equipment Menu. In the menu before a race, everything can be picked.

I have downloaded the db and installed it but when I start the game the db is not there. I am certain I have installed it in the right folder. What is the problem? |

Same issue, uninstalled the game twice and reinstalled. My older Db's are showing up for some reason including last pcmdaily expansion version, but not the newly updated one. |

same issue... Installed PCM daily pack at clean 1.3.0.0 game, whats wrong?

It is there actually, it's just installed into the wrong folder. At least mine was placed in MyDocs / Pro Cycling Manager 2012 / Database, instead of the correct path: MyDocs / Pro Cycling Manager 2012 / Mod / Database.
If you can find it in the first folder, just move it to the right one.

Then you probably haven`t copied the local.cdb to the folder. Try to do it again and overwrite the existing file. |

Download the local .cdb file from the first first post in this thread and replace the old file in Docs / Pro Cycling Manager 2012 with it.

Had the same issue, but I copied PCM Daily db.cdb(something like that) to mod-> database in my docs(where PCM France DB was too) and after that i tried Roturn's solution. Thank you Roturn
Edit: If it wasn't clear, the DB works fine with me now

Database looks good, Amazing amount of teams 
Variants amazing.
First stats impression seems fine... Only thing I didn't expect was the climbing ability of Van Hummel(64, pretty high) but i compared it too other riders and it seems pretty correct.
What I like is that Continental teams have higher stats than some other DB, so you have a chance on good results in 2.1 races (ofc, RSM was even higher, but that was too high) |
