Is there any way you can permanently change stats / stat limits to under 50 or above 85 in career mode?
I use the PCM fast editor. But when I tried to change a stat to under 50 (for example 40 cobblestones), after a while the rider got immediately 50 again..
Same thing happened when I tried to give a rider 86 on a skill, it changed back to 85, even though I had also changed his limit to 87. It all changed back.
Just want to know if it's possible or not, I know going above 85 isn't realistic but I'd like to test it out.

I am pretty sure it has to be between the two nothing more or less.

Do you know in which database? A database for pcm2011 or an earlier version? Perhaps I can post my question to a thread there. |

If it was an old game, then it has no relevance for this game.
Why do you want to change the stats beyond the game limits anyway? |

Hm ok. I don't know why, I was just wondering if it could. I do remember from older versions that there were a lot of Spanish riders who had <50 for cobblestones.. And that you could go beyond 85 with the training camps. Perhaps I'm just a bit nostalgic |

Well, looking in the Downloads section of PCM11/Historic DBs, the only one that includes Merckx is the Nos LĂ©gendes, where Merckx has 83 mountain. So if there's a DB that did that, I never heard of it I remember a screen of a rider with 86 MO because of a Training Camp, but it was the same as if he had 85 (the 'extra' point had no effect).

He had 83, but developed into 87.

Just downloaded that database, and all stat limits are max 85.. Also Merckx's climbing So there you must be wrong. Anyways, thanks for the responses, perhaps it's just not meant to be..
Or someone just has to find out how to crack that code |

Nevermind, but I specifically remember something like:
" Merckx got 87 in my game."
"Well if anyone could it would have to be Merckx."

Maybe Merckx got 85 by training and then he let him go to a training camp so he got 87.. Which is apparently only as good as 85 |

85 or 87, doesn't matter. If you like, feel free to give Contador 100 in mountain. It will show up correctly, but he won't perform better than one with 85 in MO.
The limits can't be changed. |
