Hi,
Adiouk have a lot of Asian Races.
It would be a recognition of his work, if you would add this race in your PCM Daily.
Crue True you heard it? |

Do you think the stages will be added if you spam the forum?

There's no point in adding races where none or few of the teams in the Daily DB are racing. Luigi explained this to you in another thread.

Big Boring !
Plakker works better than your PCM daily team.
And rsm-news DB has better stats than your Db. Unrealistic DB !

I dont believe Plakker will be making a DB for PCM 12, and stats are a matter of opinion.
If you dont think PCM.daily work hard on their db, you are wrong. Maybe it isn't the top in any category (most teams most race), but they do a darn good job of having the highest quality of everything in the db.
And they focus on having a perfect schedule for the 80-100 teams that are ever in the db.

That really depends on what you consider as "top". If most teams and most races is "top" for you (perhaps it's the case for doping), then you should go and download a giant DB, e.g. Full Cycling Manager. The PCMDaily DB usually looks for a combination of smooth gameplay (= not too many teams, also because if so a season can take a lot longer) and some realism (so for example, American teams where dropped when there were only 2 American races). Well at least that's kinda how I see it

I agree, but isn't it called an expansion pack?

I know, it's the best db out there, I just find it weird to call a db that doens't expand that much an expansion pack.

As Luigi and I have explained a couple of times, we do not want to make a DB with all teams and races of the world. That 'market' for DBs is covered by PPDB and Full Cycling Manager, and they are both doing a great job.
We're making a primarily European-based DB with a max of c. 100 teams. In some cases, we add British and American teams/races, as those are the main areas we (PCM.daily) 'serve'.
Therefore, even if adiouk made all the Asian races and created all the Asian riders and teams, we would still not use them, simply because it's not a part of the DB's 'scope'.
However, if adiouk, yourself or anyone else would like to make an add-on, a stand-alone DB or anything else which includes the Asian races and teams, there's absolutely nothing that prevents you from doing that. That'd be more useful than constantly moaning over the PCM.daily DB. |

Let's see:
- More teams
- More riders
- More races
- More stages
- More variants
- More equipment
... just to name a few. How on earth does that not justify "expansion"? |

When/where did I say that we needed all teams to participate in a race in order for the race to be in the DB? |

I said "that much" and note the type of smiley.

Well I know some people have said that American races won't be added because of lack of American teams and vice versa.

There's quite a difference from 22/24 teams in the DB (Tour of Turkey 2012 startlist) to 4/16 teams in the DB (Philadelphia Championship 2012 startlist)
