I apologize for the question if it has ever been asked before, but with all the realism and accuracy that these games provide in the stages of cycling, I was just curious as to why the full circuit of the Champs-Elysees has never been put into the PCM games. It's always just the U-turn at both ends of the avenue. Is it just to hard to structure? Or is it a scale issue? I was just thinking about this as I was watching the final stage of the Tour today. |

I was wondering too, but never cared too much.

Wasn't there a version which included the tunnel, or does my memory play tricks on me?

Yes, made by Miya, but it's for PCM09. Not only did it include the full circuit but also the Champs Elysee, it was great

I remember that, added to the experience of playing the Tour de France. Would be awesome if someone could remake it for PCM12!

I think Miya himself said it wasn't possible to make a tunnel with the new stage editor. (since 10)

I still think that getting the real Champs would be amazing.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who felt that way! I thought I was going to be ridiculed for that question. Maybe someday they'll get that fixed

Its nothing to do with stage makers. You would need an awesome graphics designer to find a way to edit the monument structures that the Stage Editor uses. Very complicated - if it's even possible at all.

Knowing how unstable the stage editor is - I'd say not possible at all.

I think it's something that can be done in the stage editor, but rather in the Champs Elysee .nif file, texture files and .xml files (which are all located in the ChampsElysees folder in 3D/Landscapes/Monuments).
