Database properties - Stats explained

I'm just beginning to get my teeth back into major DB modding, team creation, uniform graphics, etc. It's three years since I did this in any major way, since PCM 2009. So, I'm curious as to the generally agreed upon properties of the different stat categories, how they impact gameplay in PCM 2012 and how they've changed since earlier games.

Specifically, looking at the DYN_cyclist table, I'm interested in opinions on the main stat types, as follows:

plain
hill
mountain
downhilling
cobble
timetrial
prologue
sprint
acceleration
endurance
resistance
baroudeur
charisme

I'm especially interested in those in bold and how they impact climbing in GTs. Any info/insight/commentary/subjective drivel is much appreciated.

I've seen that, but for 2011. I was curious if there are opinions on changes in stat behaviors in the new game. I shall re-read that, however. Sad

I doubt that Cyanide changed the meaning of the stats.
But there are not many people who analyze these things, maybe you want do it for PCM 2012?

The stats mean the same as they did in 2011.

However, as some people have noted, the RES stat is now much, much lower than it used to be in previous versions. So that's something to have in mind.

In fact the RES stats have kept the same in the Official Release since PCM10 (in the 3 Off Releases the Top 3 riders in RES have 78, Cyanide barely changed the stats). The only thing is that in this version someone mentioned/tested that RES has a bigger effect in making riders go up mountains (and perform in general I'd expect).
