I'm searching for a simple database without all the new stages and that stuff. Just an updated database, where the riders are on the right team and their skills are updated.
Can someone give me a link?

I guess he wants a simple download so that the DL size isn't too big.. after all it wouldn't make much sense to not use all the new stages when you already have them downloaded.

I have tried to download PCM.Daily's db, but some stages doesn't work. Instead of spending a lot of time to fix these problems, then I rather have something simple that works instead of a million different stages and equitments, which I don't think is the most important thing. Last year I found a simple database for PCM 2010, but I can't find one this year.
I hope that one of you can help me. |

What do you mean 'some stages don't work'? If you find any problem which you think is a bug in the DB you can report it in the Bug Report thread. And at the moment there is only 3 'real' bugs regarding stages, and only one of these (the TdF ITT one) makes the game crash, but there's already a fix for this one available.
Concerning equipment, yesterday I edited a .cdb file to remove the extra equipment from the Daily DB, for people who wanted to play on higher graphical settings but without crashes (as far as I know, more equipment causes more crashes - so they'd have to lower the graphical settings).
As for what you really want, a light DB, I haven't seen any so far. But in my personal opinion, I could easily play without all the equipment.. but play with a bunch of re-used (repeated) stages and the same stages every year (no variants)? I wouldn't like that

So far my problems are the first stage of Tour de Langkiwi, then one of the classics, (I don't know which one) and then one of the Giro Stages. It's not a graphical problem, since the problems starts, when I go to the race profile before starting the race.
Anyway, It would be cool to have a lot of stages, but I'm sure that I won't be playing this game much before I'll buy a new version of this game. So I rather spend my time playing the stages twice with updated teams than having a lot of problem with large database.

all of this is new to me, so here is my problem:
I downloaded PCM.daily's 2012 DB V1 with FlashGet and installed it. But when I try then to open PCM 2011, it doesn't work :/ , it just don't want to open and it sends me back to my desktop.
Please help me..  |

Try this:
- Uninstall the game (do not de-activate the game)
- Install the game
- Try if the game starts
- Install the latest patch: https://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=815
- Try if the game starts
- Install the DB (make sure to install it into the correct folder
- Try if the game starts
Post here, if it does not start and at what step.

There are a few great DBs out there: Altehacke's, which is quite tricky to download with all those parts but very good, the A.S.O. DB which will be released in two weeks, but of course you should download the PCMDaily 2012 DB, since that's the one from the site
