No-additional equipment version?

Hello everyone
I was wondering if it was possible to make me a version of the PCMdaily 2012 db with only the standard equipment provided when you buy the game? |

What do you want exactly? You want a .cdb file in which you'll play with the original equipment (=you already have downloaded all files from the PCMDaily DB) or do you want to download the Daily DB without the equipment (so the download would be faster, since equipment is about 760 MB)?

The way I understand it, all the additional equipment zaps up vital memory, and makes the game crash faster. And I believe if I had the option of playing with the original equipment, I could actually play the game all maxed out graphic-wise, with out it crashing. |

In my experience I don't think it would make a big difference.
If it's crashing on top graphic settings with equipment I don't think it will suddenly stop crashing when you have a no equipment version.
Choose graphic options your machine can handle and you should have no real issues with in game crashes. |

As lluuiiggii says, all of the equipment totals at over 700 mbs, that has to make a difference. My PC can handle max graphics, but then the game crashes at every stage. If I keep the settings at approx 2/3 of max, then the game is playable, but I still get a few crashes here and there.
My specs:
Intel i7 2640M
8 GB RAM
GF GT540M
This is more than enough to handle the game at max settings.

Well if it does make a difference I don't know. I've learned that it did, additional equipment would make the game slower and more probable to crash (if you kept the same graphics settings), but since Fenian is saying that I'm not sure again.
Either way, here's a quick .cdb file which will remove all the extra equipment from the Daily DB and use only the equipment set by Cyanide, but correcting the brands for frames and helmets (Cya is Cervelo, Team is Trek, etc). Also, the teams which have their real bikes among the 5 brands present in the DB will ride with the correct ones (Radioshack with Trek, Sky with Pinarello, etc). The rest is all random.
