Editing Saves

Hi
I would like to edit a save, but ahve no idea how to begin. I've seen many comments about editing saves saying things such as "Open your save-game -> DYN_sponsor, find your sponsor and change the value_i_budget to whatever you prefer." But I'm unsure of what to do after I click "load last save game." I haven't downloaded an editor. Sorry if this has already been said, I couldn't find it

1. Download an editor.
2. Open the editor
3. Open your savegame in the editor
4. Choose the tables you want to edit
5. Edit what you want to edit

The editors are not in-game. There is the Official Editor, which comes with the game, but it's horrible (very limited in what you can do) and it can mess up save games.

One of the best editors for save games is the Fast Editor, because it saves your alterations already in your savegame.

So, after you downloaded and installed it, look for your save in My Docs/PCM11/Users/[your username]/Database/Solo/[the DB of your career]. Open it with the Fast Editor, and after that, do what you've read in other threads (DYN_sponsor, value_i_budget, etc). After you've edited it just click on 'Database' (top left corner) and 'Save Database'. And it's done, good luck Smile

hey...is it possible to return to an earlier point in the season prior to, let's say, a major mistake...?

Yes, with the Weekly Save. You can find it in My Docs/PCM11/Users/[your username]/Database/Weekly Save. Copy the save from the date you want, and put it on the saves directory (same as above but in the end Database/Solo/[name of your DB]). And also rename it properly.
