First let me introduce myself. This is me:

I'm at the well known German talent development team Thüringer Energie. At this team I hope to grow so I can go to a World Tour team and eventually realise my dream of winning a Grand Tour. Ofcourse the ultimate goal will be the Tour de France, but already winning a Grand Tour is quite an achievement.
For now, I must learn a lot in my first year. My program is as following:

The first race of the season and we go in with no expectations. We have no real sprinter so I had to do the sprint. I was placed well but was quickly overpowered by the real sprinters and finished 32th. Nothing important to report otherwise so on with the next race!

Stage 1
The first stage is categorized as flat, but had some hills in the beginning. I'm impressed with the starting field here. Vinokourov, Kreuziger, Nibali, Rodriguez, Garzelli, that cheat of a Schumacher, I'm not confident of getting a good result in this race. Ride and learn a lot I guess!
Teammate Mike William is in the attack. Mike is a funny guy, because his name is as German as Heinrich Haussler is Australian... It doesn't fit at all! After a long break it looked like the peloton would come back.
But Mike attacked twice and the group made it after that. Too bad Mike was a little bit too enthousiastic and finished last from the breakaway..
I won the peloton sprint for 10th place, but to be honoust, that was easy since the peloton didn't really care.
Stage 2
Talk about your crazy starts. These professionals really FLY up a hill. I thought I was a good climber but I'm not, not at this level. Right at the start there were tons of attacks and I was hanging on for dear life in the peloton. Half of the team dropped but when things calmed down my teammates returned.
I asked 'Vino' if this was normal and he assured me even he was hurting after such a start. So at least I wasn't the only one. Ofcourse we missed the 14 man break that formed on the climb. But at least we were still alive.
When we reached the last climb I had already lost the hope of doing a good result but I tried to be in front as much as possible. However even going as fast as I could I couldn't even keep up with the best 40... Oh well, welcome to pro cycling mister Steigmiller. Damn!
The winner of the day? A certain S. Schumacher... damn again.

Stage 3
This time another 'flat' stage. Since I'm down and out in the GC I might be allowed to attack. But I'm not sure I'm able to on this level.
After a wild start I do get into the break of the day, with eleven others.
With 50km to go the gap is still over 8 minutes and I know I have my chances. There are one or two guys who are faster though so escaping would be a good idea. At least, that was my thought.
However, I didn't get away and when we arrived at the sprint I wasted my energy by attacking. In the end one of the slower guys one. I'm mad at myself for ruining this opportunity. If I waited I might have won...

The good part? I moved up to 7th in the general classification, yeah... the peloton finished 4 minutes behind us.
Stage 4
So another flat stage. Probably the flattest in the race. Bastian Bürgel is in the break for our team. My job is to sit in the peloton and recover as much energy as possible to keep my top 10 position in tomorrows hard stage.
It looked like an easy job. But in the finale the rain and the wind made the peloton split in pieces and obviously I got behind... Bertogliati finally won from the breakaway. Bürgel was caught by the peloton as he was one of the weakest in the break. Unfortunately we are simply outclassed here!

Stage 5
A flat stage but with a nasty uphill finish. I really have no chance of keeping my top 10 here but we have to try. Also there are 5, count them, 5 (!!) Intermediate sprints...What's the point of that?
The stage goes as predicted, a long break goes and the peloton controls it. In the end they get reeled in. I start the final climb in 15th position. But I finish quite a while back. Question is...did I make it?

Nice Top 10! Good choice of stage to go in the breakaway, pity the attacks there didn't work.
Btw, on the breakaway stage, you must have meant 'won' instead of 'one'?

Stage 1
A flat stage to warm up with. This race also has a hilly stage and a TT. I'm mainly looking forward to the time trial. In the hilly stage I don't have a chance against the strong riders here anyway. And they are here... (Millar, Danielson, Vandevelde, Anton, Cobo, Sastre, Intxausti, Porte, Soler, etcetera)
Nuber was in the break of the day for us. But on the last hill he lost contact. I made a jump in the downhill because I felt good, but I could not catch up with the leaders, I did catch up to the second group with Nuber and tried to make the best of it!
A nice result if I say so myself...
Stage 2
The hilly stage. I'm just trying to limit the damage today.
It did not help that we had nobody in the early break. But I could manage myself well over the first hill in the final. The question was, how would I hold on the last, steep, hill? There were only 55 guys left in the peloton and I noticed many suffered more than I did.
At the base of the climb Sørensen attacks and the pace in the peloton goes up. I gradually slide backwards but I knew that would happen.
I land up in the 6th group on the road. In the first group of 15, some unknown guy from Orbea takes the victory ahead of Javier Moreno and CA Sørensen. Suprising!
But also suprising, I finish ahead of Millar and Soler...

When we win a stage or when Steigmiller is in a break finishes really well I will post screens.
But I'm not a fan of putting a lot of screens since it takes so much work.
I'm better at writing than taking screens anyway. Most of my screens look boring  |

Stage 2
A flat stage with some hills in it to begin with. I wanted to take it easy, with my mind set on the time trial on stage 4.
Teammate Bürgel went into the attack of the day. They stay ahead for a large part of the day. Bürgel even proves himself to be one of the strongest three in the break. But with 6km to go it's alltogether again.
Then a big fall happened. I was just able to avoid it, and I was lucky to do so. Because just some kilometers before I was still sitting in the back and I would have been in the fall.
The stage was won by Belletti, who beat Hutarovich in a photo-finish. I finished in the first pack, many of the favorites didn't!

Stage 3
A nice hard hilly stage today. And with a peloton full of pissed off favorites. There were a lot involved in the fall yesterday and they lost time. So I'm guessing it's going to be a very hard day for me and the rest of the team.
A crazy start immediately causes chaos. 26 riders get away with teammate Thiel in it. Ofcourse the peloton would not allow this and the group gets caught. On the second hill it's war again but again nobody gets away. This development is not good for my legs. The constant high pace is killing me!
Finally with 100km to go Borchi gets away and the peloton cools down a bit. But on the top of the next hill the peloton goes crazy again when Blanco and Schumacher attack, they both lost time yesterday in the big pile-up. Schumacher gest caught again quickly but Blanco doesn't give up and reaches Borchi.
With 75km to go Schumacher isn't tired out yet and again attacks and this time gets away. The peloton gets really nervous when Blanco is virtually in the leaders jersey by 3 minutes. The pace is skyrocketing and I have nobody left to feed my water bottles. This will become a serious problem if I don't get a a bottle before the final 20km!
Finally with 20km to go when Thiel didn't reach me I had no other choice but to get a bottle from the car. Obviously I lost contact with the peloton when some douchebags from Miche couldn't follow. Such a shame... If only I had a strong helper I would still be in that first group!
Defeated I lose 3'30 minutes in this stage to winner Mori..

Stage 4
With strong revenge feelings I start this ITT. I lost 2 minutes because of the stupid water bottle. Today I will try to get into the top 10 of the time trial!
On the way I had a really great feeling, but with great suprise I saw that I was only 16th at the finish line with still many top riders to come..
Yikes! Dissapointment...

Stage 5
Well the sooner this race is over the better. I've had to endure quite some dissapointments here. The level is higher than I anticipated.
On the other hand, this is also the last day to make something out of this, so I'm certainly going to try!
At the first hills I kept myself from attacking because there were plenty big groups with no chance of staying away.
At the second string of hills I tried. But the peloton clearly did not allow me to escape. I was in a 3-man group but they deemed me 'dangerous to the GC' and I was reeled in. So another dissapointment, all I could do this stage is hang on as long as possible again. Boring!
To go home without anything would be silly, so I just sprinted for some mountain points, at least I go home with €500 bucks. Fuck yeah!
Also with 5km to go I was still in the first peloton and I thought, meh, why not give it a whirl. I was caught again with 1km to go though! Serpa won the sprint of the favorites. Di Luca snatched the overall victory.

Wow, your story is really flying. Not a bad results for the young guy,especially top 10 in Sardinia. Jakob looks talented in many areas.
And no problem for me with lesser sceenshots, the story at least has a tempo. Good luck in the next races
Btw, some weird results in the WT, especially great results for Kiryienka.
And Rabo guys had to make you happy at Tirreno and San Remo

Stage 1
This race begins with a time trial. Or rather a prologue, it's only 5km long! However, it will probably be deciding for the overall GC, the other stages are flat.
On top of that, it is raining like hell here in Zeeland, the Netherlands, well that's typical. The fastest time is set early by Viviani with 7'03. Not even riders like Devolder and Clement could beat it before my start.
My teammates, even the good time trial specialist Kahra, aren't doing well. So that makes me more nervous, more pressure!
For me feeling I did a good TT, but my time is only the 50th best. Ai! It seems we lack some race competition form...
In the end, race favorite Westra beats Viviani's time and wins

Stage 2
There is no GC to defend so that gives us all a free whole. With the wind in this part of the Netherlands there might be a chance to form some echelons. And the whole peloton knows that. It will be a hard stage even if it's dead flat.
Soon after the start however I feel no wind whatsoever. Figures, it's a windless day. So far for the 'always wind in Zeeland'-theory. To make matters worse, we missed the break of the day.
Then as final effort we tried to set up a sprint train for Bürgel, but soon he gave the sign he wasn't feeling well. And to finish things up I was the only one of the team caught in the mass fall at 6km from the finish. The peloton splintered in pieces and I was in the last part.
A day to forget!!

Stage 3
Finally an end to this horror race. I've got nothing to lose so I will be attacking until I'm completely dead. Can't race without showing myself at least once.
At the start signal I went away immediately. A group of twelve forms, but the peloton decides it's too dangerous and catches us. I go again, this time in a group of thirteen. But no, the peloton keeps being persistant in chasing us down.
I won't give up and attack again with my last powers for now. This time we do get away in a group of twelve
Our maximum lead is 7'15, then the peloton started to gradually reduce the gap. Ofcourse I tried to stay away with the group but it was not possible. The peloton is just too strong and with 10km to go I am caught.
Viviani easily wins the sprint after a superb lead out by Koren.

Stage 1
A prologue very similar to the Delta Tour. I hope I do better than I did then!
Seeing the performance of my teammates doesn't make me smile. I still think the lack of race rythm will catch up with me.
I started confidently, but over the finish line I'm 13 seconds back. A bit too much for a top placing.
Westra wins again and confirms his good form. I finish 36th, not good, but a whole lot better than in Delta Tour!

Stage 2
This stage is categorized as flat but has quite some serious hills on the course. We'll see what happens.
It's a hard stage straight from the start because of the countless attacks. Nobody get's away until 50km into the race when teammate Thiel gets away with 2 others.
They stay ahead for most of the stage and Thiel even gets some KOM points.
With 20km to go Spezialetti rides away from his breakaway companions. At the same time Bellemakers attacks from the peloton and jumps across Thiel and Zagar (the other breakaway riders).
Everyone gets caught again with 5km to go and I find myself in the wheel of Van Hummel, a good sprinter. Unfortunately there was a nasty bit upwards with 500m to go and I couldn't hold the wheel.
Nico Eeckhout wins and I lose a lot of places in the final 500 meters, I was blown!

Stage 3
Another 'flat' stage, but again on rolling terrain. The finish isn't as tough as yesterday though. So I won't lose almost a minute on 500 meters this time!
Again it takes a long time for the break to get away. A remarkably big one of 14 riders gets away in the end. Bürgel is there for Thüringer so I can stay in the peloton.
With 20km to go the break still has around 2 minutes and it looks like they could make it. Bürgel tries his hardest to win, but Dieter Cappelle is too strong and wins.

Stage 4
The hardest stage in this stage-race. With guys like Carrara, Bakelants, Lagutin, Taaramäe, Di Luca etcetera here I can't hope for much.
The day did not start well for us, we had nobody in the break of the day, the start of the race was simply too hard for that. Only I could have gone with them and the team manager said I should not go in the early attack here.
On the penultimate climb we can see the leaders. I have great difficulties here but barely survive in the first group of 44 men. If we catch the 10 leaders it means I can do a fantastic top 50..hahaha!
On the last climb I can barely hang on and survive in the first group, but I do!
Matthews is convincingly the strongest of the first group..

Stage 5
Another wild day to get into the break. Only after 80km did Nuber (teammate), Mandri and Zagar (there he is again) get away.
It's a long and boring stage, with 7km to go the break gets caught and we get a mass sprint, suprise suprise!.
Bos finishes off the Rabobank team work and wins ahead of Hutarovich and Van Dijk.
