Stage win for senori Martinelli and the future of Astana (and Landa is not part of that)

Jacdk - Are you delusional? He had 0% chance to take pink when they called him back... He would have taken the stage and the blue Jersey but to Astana its worth more to get Aru a stage win on the Queen Stage and 2nd in the GC, its all about the $ |

Beaten by Aru and Landa. Does not look good for TDF. But you have to say with dislocated shoulder, fall twice and a weak team. He has done well.
I still feel Contador was not in top form for Giro. Only time will tell. |

Agreed and they did it so obviously. |

Hmm British commentators are ridiculous...
Who is going to challenge Contador at the Tour they say? On this evidence Contador will struggle to finish top 5 at the Tour.
Brilliant Giro win for him though, he has fought through a lot - if Landa or Aru could TT for toffee it would have been a really interesting fight but they cannot.
Astana have had amazing three weeks... Aru should be future multiple Giro winner, provided top GC guys go to the Tour and avoid this.

So Landa lost the KOM jersey and a stage win just so Aru can win this stage. Ok Astana... |

Astana seem very suspicious. Yesterday Aru drank from what looked like a vile, and then look what he did. Today Landa and apparently all of Astana can climb better than most of the peloton.
Also has nobody noticed how last year Luis Leon Sanchez had to fight hard to get the KoM jersey at the Vuelta, but now he appears twice the climber.
Hhhhhmmmmm...... And then of course you have to look at the team history. Very Suspicious Indeed! Yeah because your fav. team Sky is so clean
I am no means a fan of Team Sky
But how many positive doping tests in the last year has Astana had? i think its pretty obvious that the team have a very very relaxed policy towards doping. |

Sky isn't my favourite team man. I just think it's strange how Astana haven't looked a strong team, then all of a sudden there getting 5 guys in the front group on a mountain stage.
And when you look at Dario Cataldo, at Sky he wasn't a superb climber, but he was ok. Then at Astana he seems like one of the best in the world.
Look at Landa last year he finished 34th at the Giro, which is good, but its a pretty meteoric rise to a top 3 overall, and two stage wins, when he hasn't done anything special so far this year.
The UCI should of taken Astana's license off them, when they had the chance.

Astana have also been in consultation with Michele Ferrari in recent years. Is that not fishy to you?

Not that embarrassing; considering the fact that there are hardly any MTFs it was always going to be difficult for one of the top GC guys to get the blue jersey, if anything I am surprised Landa got so close. Visconti rode a very good and aggressive Giro and, although I would have preferred to see Intxausti win it, in the end he probably deserved it.

It was a slim chance, but nevertheless a chance. You never know how much Contador would lose...
If I had been Landa, I would just have taken the victory, 2nd overall, the KOM and get the fack outta that Kazahk/Italien bullshit team. So angry at Martinelli, what a completely douche |

At least there's no way now that he will stay with Astana.

Ahh, so the 2:22 he lost to Aru was again a mirage?
Considering that at the point of landa´s pull back Landa had over a min to Contador, had over 30secs to Aru so if he had gone.
Well, if you cant see the writing then you need to learn to read. |
