Hmm Conta is doing a decenyt enough descent and remembering to eat - he has that buffer which must be going over and over in his head.
God knows who the next rider is after him? Pretty much all the good riders of this last week are ahead of Astana guys. Movistar and Sky I guess will be somewhere but you sense Konig and Amador are suffering like dogs.

Big group with Amador, Caruso, Konig, Monfort, Geniez and some other riders were next over the top 3 minutes behind the leaders.

Because staying away from the chase group drastically helps Zakarin's chances on a stage win.
