Surely 2 min lost here means he will lose 2 more mins to Landa on final climb. Does not look good

Wow who would have thought that Contador would lose it all on the last day.
Lol, one minute = everything lost. Yes.
You cant believe those splits for a sec.
Contador is right now at least 2min behind Landa.
No, the splits where correct...
Almost but we will see, the last climb is going to be brutal for Contador.
It will be very very very close. |

I imagine gravel roads don't really suit his style of riding? I usually ride them sitting and pressing really down. Out of saddle is tricky, at least for me.

Looks like Kruijswijk could only manage 6th over the climb so it's Visconti that gets the KoM jersey!

No. Imo, Conta lost time on Finestre, since it was on gravel. And when you climb out of the saddle all the time, you lower the pressure on your rear wheel, which can cause it to spin. Which makes him ride in the saddle more, which he isnt as good in.

KoM will go to Landa, if he wins the stage.

All I am thinking is had Astana done this from the bottom with Kangert/Tiralongo and Landa attacking way earlier.... |

What a bloody shame. Kruijswijk fought so well....
Not enough points on the last climb, so it's Visconti that's the King

I'm afraid Astana you haven't really got the friends - you have ripped this race up over and over again - so no Uran not interested in doing any chasing.
Hesjedal of course is a beast likewise Kriuswijk they should both be in GC top 5 not Amador, Trofi and Konig.

One thing is sure tho, Contador can thank his team for this, they have been incredible weak and Kreuziger and Basso have been underperforming massively.

Basso is old. I didn't expect anything from him, but Kreuziger underperformed especially in week 3 and a bit in week 2.

Okay, ES going on a break. Did Landa and Zakarin almost crash in that wall?
