Phinney thrown out of the race after crossing a closed railroad while chasing the peloton. It's wrong of course, but it makes me wonder, what if he did wait? Would they make the peloton and front group wait to make up his time loss? There doesn't seem to be a good solution here.
Two FdJ riders have also been kicked out for holding onto the team car up the climbs yesterday.
AG2R. Geniez and Denz
There's video. It's very blatant.
I just heard it very quickly on sky sports news while I was running around trying to find my keys. I knew it was one of the French teams
I guess the" withdrawn and not kicked" out is simply the fact that the team knew they would be kicked out anyway so withdrew them to avoid some of the embarrassment.
Or maybe the organisers gave them the option. Withdraw your riders or we'll kick them out, which I assume also results in fines of various forms.

Wow those sheeps forming that bike at the end of ToBritain was one of the strangest things I have seen.
TDF have a competition on the best but that could be the best of the year.
How the heck did the farmer pull that off.
Then watching the great combo Richeze-Gaviria working their magic was nice to see. Think this might be the new Quick-Step combo replacing the Renshaw-Cav power years.
Will it be Viviani for the Giro and Gaviria for TDF next year ??

The stupid sod that waved the warning flag was standing BEHIND the car.
I do hope they are educating those blokes.
This was really scary when Bookie landed on the back on the car and broke the rear window.
I still hold the biggest surprise yesterday was on the happy side.
The flock of sheep forming the bike.

After a slow start and some injury afair, Gaviria won a stage in Britain and came second today. Looks like he is gaining form just in time for Gaviria Bergen 2017

Imo he does not have a slightest chance on such a course against likes of Sagan, GVA, EBH or Kwiatek.
