Damn it. Novak loosing everything in one of the worst time trials I've ever seen from an Isostar GC contender...

Nice to see Wirtgen flying the flag even though he isn't 'my' rider! Cullaigh picking up another top 10 is good to see but I hope Wirtgen can improve and get the win here!

Eg with a decent ride to move up to 7th. A top 5 is possible, through not realistic. Would be nice to just keep our current GC spot.

Yeahhh, just as I observed the few times I accidentally left on auto mode for TTs in PCM18, it just cannot properly manage the energy consistently for every rider.

yeah TTs are a lot different in PCM18. But I am not sure for better or worse. I honestly don't remember how flat, hill and mtn influenced TT in PCM15

Not the best final stage from the team but Conci does what he needs to do to finish 5th in the GC! That's an absolutely fantastic result from a Lvl1 rider who has 2 more additions of l'Avenir to ride who will no doubt continue to improve further. His TT and back up stats did the job for him here.
Mas in 15th finishing 1 spot ahead of former talent, Novak, is solid from him. Paez 20th and Aranburu 23rd also solid and shows our depth. In fact, GC wise, we had all 7 of my riders inside the Top 50 of the GC (Errazkin just outside of that) so it's not surprising that we won the team standings.
I was also glad to see Cosnefroy perform well in the colours of Puma while Ganna also did well.

The best consolidation price I could ask for! Oomen came through in the end and got a very big win for us. Thanks Ember for borrowing me your riders, they were a great help along with De Plus!
Thanks for the reports, they did cheer me up amidst our relegation.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Good ending to the race! Would have liked Brozyna to join the break and challenge Schlegel for the KoM jersey, but when he couldn't to that, Zahiri certainly made up for it by putting up a great show and ending 3rd.
Thanks for the reports, and congrats Ollfardh!

Decent. Budyak strong of course, and Padun seemingly the best climber... Shame his TT was laughable, but better luck next year, without Budyak, but with an improved Rikunov as helper

Eg did quite nice in the end, coming home 6th. I still don't like how anonymous we were. Eg made most of his time n the TT and then just kind of rode it in. Wasn't that strong in the mountain. We never had another rider do anything the whole race. It's disappointing in that regard, but we'll take it.

Hurts to lose by such a narrow margin, but congratulations to Ollfardh on a deserved win for Oomen - and thanks to Abhi for the reports! |
