Woo, top 10 for Krasnoperov! And second in the team GC! Looks like I'm gonna have to follow that closely too |

Not too shabby from Garby. If he didn't get freaking dropped in a TTT than he would be top 5 right now... but I can't think that way. There's still two weeks left, and a ton can happen over that span. He showed some initiative today bridging the gap, and we got a small time reward for it. Not as much as I had hoped, but anything is good. Plus, 3rd place on the stage is always a fun prize too. I just have to hope the TTT was a fluke of AI and he's actually still on good form here like today.

Good ride by the Kraftwerk TT specialists to justify their selection for this race keeping Kiserlovski in the top 5.
Not so good by the mountain goats who were more like lambs to the slaughter, they need to improve if they are going to protect Kiserlovski in the high mountains!

Holy crap! I am so happy! When I saw both Krigbaum and Eg in the break. I was prepared for that to be my main point of happiness for the day, but what an effort! A flat beast like Krigs can really succeed in a break, and he sure showed it today!
This race (and the season!) has really been a roller coaster so far, but these kinds of days make it all worth it. Seeing your level 1 talent go out there and make his team and country proud is a special experience.

No Granjel. No fun!
A pity for Von Hoff as well. Congrats bbl, but I would prefer to see a sprinter fighting for the points classification here. They need to score big though. Catch the breakaways!

Nice to see a breakaway take a stage. Aregger keeps our streak going of no result below top-6 in any stage yet!

Ha, ha, ha... What a sh*tsshow. I knew joining the ToA was risky, but we're even lower in points than most other CT teams right now. What a disaster.
Thanks for the detailed report on my team roturn, at least it gave me a lot of things to analyze. Now hoping for our team's only bright spot tomorrow, but if you have to rely on Krasnoperov to perform, something is going terribly wrong. |

That Ticos depth... They are winning the GC no matter what happens, the question is if it will be Chamorro or Barguil. And still it won't be enough for Ticos to survive. If they had just signed something but climbers, they would be safe with this ToA performance
Really great reports roturn!

Much more like it for this race, although not quite as good as last season - Mt Washington has been a good climb for Berhane. Could have been even better if attacking early on the climb, rather than the previous one - or going with Barguil in the first place - but nice to see him go for the 'destroy everyone else' option. Will need to see this and more, in the mountains to come.
Unfortunate that Chamorro clung on and then won - hopefully Ticos start tripping each other up soon. Chamorro above Barguil in the GC, could maybe affect things?
Thanks for the updates on the rest of the team too roturn. Hard to make much sense about the relative performances of them at times!

That went down the swanny quickly.
Good result for Santambrogio though.

Ticos though well no surprise really. Depth will pay off big here.
Eritel performing on it's favorite stages from past editions. I like! Barguil though will be tough to beat. But indeed it will be an interesting Chamorro/Barguil constellation.
Thanks for a great in-depth report.

Yeah... So far with our GC and team GC. Good to see Manfredi doing well, but if he feels that good, why lose 12 minutes in an earlier stage? My mind is so confused.
Hopefully we'll start joining breaks now. It's the only way this tour can still be a success. |

Ticos is crazy strong, congratulations to Ste. It's starting to look like I should have sent a little more mountain depth rather than TTT depth because Schelling is getting isolated pretty badly here. Good chance he loses the jersey in the next stage, I still have hopes for the podium though.

Another win for us with Chamorro, fully expecting a double podium on GC now and to take home the GC, Team classification and U25s with Sakalou.
Not sure how I will keep all these if I get relegated but suppose I can make a lot of money of them
Thanks for the thrilling reports Roturn

Well, Garby trying to attack on the Cat 3 was already super confusing due to his lack of flat skill. I figured a high pace over the course of the day would really drain him. Apparently it did, just not to critical failure. I guess that's better than the alternative. A great ride by Ebsen to finish that high up with 74 mountain, but it would have been nicer if he had used that strength to actually help Garby at any point on the climb.
In any case, absolutely amazing, thorough reporting by roturn. Thank you so much!

At first I was worried MOL would overtake us in the rankings but I might even have to shift my focus to Ticos, if they continue these results in mountain stages they might close the large gap that currently exists.
Thanks for the detailed reports so far roturn!

Gained time on most but lost time to others is a good way of suming that up. Hopefully we can do something later im the race but Top5 on GC is looking like a realistic aim right now
