First of all great display by Stepniak to take 10th place by being a leadout rider. Mohs in 18th is okay, but still pissed about it as I think he could've taken a podium from this race as a minimum. At least the rest of his RD's are filled with better profiles for him and he showed that he is capable of being a PCT captain.
Teams/Points classification is really really great and heals the wound a bit and we can go into trying to salvage as many points as possible over the next 2 MG months.
Congrats to trek for a great podium for Vantomme, that considering his wage is really needed for him to be worth anything really. Congrats to Croatia aswell for a great win by Kump, that just goes to show that he can do even better than last year.

Before the race I could've been happy with stage win + top 5 GC, but a feeling of disappointment stays at the moment. Isostar's big scoring will certainly make them pass us in the fight to avoid relegation
Thank you for the reports and congrats to all people who got something out of this race
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Great race! What a big victory for Kump. The breakaway win on the last stage we hoped for. I am very happy with the outcome, though the racing really raises some doubts for the season. It seems like Mansilla wasn't, as I hoped for, the smartest choices of leadouts for Kump. Nice to see Mansilla scoring a little as 11th GC as well, and also Jans and Navardauskas with some spare GC points.
Very unlucky to loose out closely on the points jersey though, would've loved it as a bonus here. All in all though a fantastic race, eventhough the outcome was very different than expected.

Nah, not really. Kump has used up half of his race days, and Dall'Oste outscored all my other riders so far
Congrats to Croatia aswell for a great win by Kump, that just goes to show that he can do even better than last year.
So far he is behind expectations after the failed classics whole though.

Major
Great race for him, third in the stage and the KoM, well done by our youngster.
Overall I think we did decent. We do not have the strongest sprinter squad but Drapac and Major brought home more points than I expected.
Thank you very much SN for the reports and congrats Isostar on Kump's overall victory. A good points haul in your fight against relegation

Great win for Isostar to come back from a disappointing February. Four riders in the top 25 is a very good result. Great rides from Vantomme to finish 2nd overall. 3rd and 12th for Haute Route are much needed points for them too.

Handful of points from stage results, but a touch dissapointed with the race overall. Ricki didn't really step up and lead that well, but it wasn't his most suited of routes. Breakaway appearences for Law, Huynh and Kim was promising, all three have strong futures in the team so any time i see them in action is good.
Bit meh overall, but we weren't expecting masses here. Better races will come.

Well done, Kump! Goss finally with a proper sprint, just when it doesn't matter. Not sure how he managed an 8th overall, but that's at least something Nice to see Ji with a solid GC as well. I kinda miss him.
Thanks for the quality reports, SN!

While it may only be a stage win from a break it's good to have the first win of the season already in the pocket. May many more follow
Thanks for all the reports, they were excellent even if sometimes frustrating for me

We all knew Vantomme was going to win the sprint on the day the break won.
Absolutely fantastic race for us though, 2nd was way above expectations and comes alongside two podiums and 2 fourth places. I simply don't understand how Vantomme races so well, but I like it.
Great to see Kump winning as well, awesome race for him, congrats Croatia!
Thanks for the fantastic reports throughout SN!

Ok race for us, a lot of top 10s and that top 3 by Bar was great. Still makes me nervous for expected output for the rest of the season.
And great win by Kump, although I wouldn't say it was overly unexpected or anything.
Thanks SN for the reports! |

Awesome result. Kump ahead of Vantomme shows me that punchy sprinters can still be good in flat races. I like that.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Home race... this could be fun...
Stage 1 started nicely with a 5th place for Van der Sande, which was followed up by a good Top 10 on stage 2. Shame Anguilet got into difficulty on the hills and lost a lot of time!
So close from Van der Sande on Stage 3, who was looking amazing strong in the final 250metres. Nice to give the home fans something to cheer about with Thaouta in the break.
A carbon copy of Stage 3 on stage 4 but really good to see Van der Sande competing for the victory on a consistent basis in Gabon. Looking good on GC at this stage as well.
Another strong sprint on Stage 5 gave us a good chance of keeping a high GC finish for Van der Sande. Sadly it wouldn't be 2nd place on GC, but 3rd is still a great result in what was a Win Goal for us before the start of the season.
Congrats to croatia for the GC win and thanks SN for the reports!
