Naw man swimming gets me so hyped every time, they shouldn't leave out all the 50m ones and the 800 freestyle.
Kenderesi would have won it with a decent start too

4 different strokes + medley + relay + each one done on average 3 times. yeah it's too much.

The women's quarter final in tennis looks quite bad tbh, just Kerber and Kvitova left as known names. Of course they all deserved the position so far.

Is it me or are there too many swimming competitions? No other sport could get as many medal shots as swimming. There's just too many distances combined with the different strokes in my opinion.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

We are cycling again, the TT for women and man, thread for discussion.
in other sports, Gymnastics has the men's individual all-around final, Canoe Slalom has the men's kayak finals, diving has the men's synchronised 3m springboard final, Table Tennis will finish the women's singles event which is the singles first bracket to finish this olympics.
Fencing has two events, the men's Sabre and the women's Foil events, Judo has the womens -70 kg and the men's -90kg, rowing should have men's and women's squad sculls but that's has been rescheduled, shooting has the men's 50m pistols event and the men's double trap although the latter is rescheduled. weighlifting has their women's 69kg and men's 77kg events. the day will end with swimming's 4*200m freestyle relay but not before the men's 100m Freestyle, the women's 200m Butterfly and the men's 200m breaststroke finals.

While we're talking about there being too many swimming events, the 4x200 freestyle relay seems pretty unnecessary to me when there's already a 4x100. Nothing personal against those athletes though 
Pretty excited by McEvoy and Kyle Chalmers in the 100m free, both have been fantastic so far. Always liked watching the double trap shooting too so hopefully that gets shown over here.

Uchimora overtakes Verniaiev on the horizontal bar. Great final! 1/10th of a point difference. Great show.

You have a decent chance with Rikke Moeller Pedersen tomorrow for 200m breaststroke. She holds the world record but notoriously has problems actually winning stuff, so might be in for a podium at most.
