Great pace with the reporting! Smile

Starting with the first stage, sad to see that no one from Swedbank was in that break Pfft Feels like it was not the first time Risa-Ergon wins a first stage that´s hilly? But anyway congrats tastasol Wink

Stage 2, Ahlstrand is up there but it was a very though sprint there hopefully he can get an even better result on the next stage! But nice seeing Avelino make a good result for you Gusta! And once again Kupfernagel, he has done a very good season!

Stage 3, It was nice seeing Lövkvist try something it did not end at the best possible way but he and Hoogerland ended up in the first big group!

Stage 4. eehm, Hoogerland loosing some time, but a top 10 in GC for him here is okey.

Can we end the race in great style? Reimer leading out Ahlstrand to the win and Reimer hold on to a 1-2 result for Swedbank Cool haha.

Wow Bellis saved all his good race days for this last one a great effort and awesome team work by Boily who seems to have caused the spilt in the stage as well now just some luck tomorrow.

In the battle for 6th if the race ends exactly as now and neither me nor Evonik scores tomorrow we would have an 11 point lead going into Japan taking into account Evonik in Faso

RBC 2850
Evonik 2839

Happy with Monfort and Furdi. They were always on the right side of the split. And Monfort was excellent in stage 4! Went with all the right moves and his solo attempt at the end was awesome. Bellis has caught a huge form peak though, congrats to him.
Glad the AI improved a lot and that the stage 1 break riders don't dominate the GC anymore.

Now we must consolidate our GC positions in the last stage. Shouldn't be a problem.

Really liking the reports so far btw, Selwink.

Nice to see the puncheurs coming to the fore, and Bellis on fire - former rider of mine, so can't argue with that. Intriguing tactics by Chernobyl, and Euskaltel picking the wrong breaks - so pressure on Bouhanni.

There'll be a rankings update soon after the race ends btw

Nothing special from Craven. Too little too late I feel. Still, he could be in 42nd position.

Bellis meanwhile is on fire. Cool

Ouch. This hurts. A lot Frown

But since you don't seem to ride Japan, my team is at least in the driver's seat with LLS in Japan. Still I'd prefer to be ahead of you by then since even LLS can fail sometimes (see Nelspruit) and I don't want the last race to be a Goal Race AND Ranking deciding race Pfft
That would be too much pressure for LLS Pfft

Good effort from the boys. RBC leaping away from us, but still a very decent result.

Congrats on another brilliant stage, jt Smile

Edit: And oh, thanks for the brilliant reports, Selwink. Fantastic pace.

How? What? Why?

So Roy gets his second top 10 of the season, after the first race of the season. The Hell!? He leaves it till now to show that he is a 79 rated puncheur?! Great ride there, but a tad late. Just a tad. * 8 months late *

RBC on a roll, didn't think that they could catch up to Evonik, but that shows what a good run can do!

Yep we are not in Japan just meant it as a before Japan knowing you were there Grin

11 points shouldn't be enough it's going to take Bellis or someone to get a some stage points tomorrow to boost the lead a bit to be comfortable as LLS would only need a 15th or above at the moment

Brave racing from Bystrøm, which is lovely to see, seeing him punch well above his weight on the last two hilly stages. Second place in the U25 competition is a nice bonus as well.

We lack the stage/breakaway result though, but admittedly that was to be expected, seeing our line up, eventhough it would be interesting to have had a rider in the breakaway on stage 1.

Cool to see RBC make the battle for promotion far more exciting than what everyone thought it would be. Pressure on LLS for sure considering Japan, though, he kind of knows how to deliver this season. Also nice to see Risa-Ergon do well here and get a better pay day here compared to previous races where they've caught the right breakaway, considering GC positions.

Also hoping Swedbank and Ahlstrand claim that final stage, fingers crossed he does it with Holst Enger glued to his wheel Pfft

And thanks for four brilliant reports, Selwink!

Soo close to a top 10 GC, maybe if Kono finishes high tomorrow then maybe Wink

Just hope Rowe can do well here, will be the last race day of his season me thinks, better finish with a bang!

And an 'unexpected' final stage means that we have not gained the points we needed.

Unless Bulgaria gain good points in their final race in Japan I must congratulate CoC on winning this little battle and they deserve to stay in the PCT. Obviously Bulgaria could potentially take that spot but it is unlikely.

It is now down to SN and the Man-Game Gods as to the number going down but it is 99% that I will be going down with ryant and sutty to the CT. I look forward to the challenge of reforming this squad into a solid CT team and coming back at this time of the season next season!
