Not good. Not good at all. We need a lot of selection now and even then it'll be nearly impossible to get further than 3rd.

There goes the top 10 GC place, at least Ahmad Zamri has got up to 2nd on the young rider standings, shame Konrad should outdo him easily on the hilly stages to come though.

Great TT by LLS. He's now in the perfect position to attack.
Quite interesting that the pure TT specialists were often beaten by puncheurs with a strong TT. Personally, i did not expect Sanchez to contest the podium on this stage.

Nice TT by our riders! Only Koren slightly disappointing. But Konrad taking the lead in the youth classification makes up for it. And it's good that Kangert is now clearly our leader.
Our objective of outscoring Aegon is getting harder and harder though. That stage 1 mess-up and subsequent days in the jersey has already given Bazzana lots of points and now Boom is doing great as well. Some very selective hilly stages are needed to get these guys out of the top 10.

TT Stages are never good days in the MAEX trailer. These days are all about minimizing losses. It's behind us now so it's time to jump into some breakaways and make up time.

Not a brilliant TT for us but there were always going to be big losses for our leaders. Hopefully they can start making the time up on stage 4's hills. |

Great, well that time trial win gives us goal number one complete - a stage win. That said, it is quite annoying that the break won that stage because if they hadn't then Cornu would be in the leader's jersey now.
Now with Cornu in 3rd and Zingle in 20th it will be interesting to see if we can have someone in the top ten on GC at the end of the race.

Interesting TT. Costa keeps Lls In striking distance, which must ne seen as a successful day for us. Four tough days now folow. Can't wait for that!

Nice to see Changpad fight for the KoM jersey. That's all positive there is to say. Jang and Wang are a letdown once again. |

Puma with a superb strong team performance. I'm happy that there was no gap between any groups because LLS seemed to be way too passive.

Another solid performance. Both Bazzana and Olsson looking strong here, actually. Will be some interesting stages coming up.

After a barren break season, the team are constantly getting into them over the past few days. Great effort from Egidio today.
Jérémy Roy, 10th, someone bring some tissues because he must be getting a nosebleed up there. High as he has been all season long. This second run going better for me than the 1st one did! |

Mixed feelings about this.
No doubt a great team effort, bonus seconds for Kelderman and more sprint points for Demare, but this is the second stage win we miss due to a break.
On the other hand, Vogt does things!
First priority for the next days has to be making the race hard to make up for the TT losses all across our team, and of course to catch the first two.

Annoying Ban Nasser couldn't make any time gains for all his efforts, it leaves him still well behind on the GC. I need a very selective stage and him to be involved to have any chance of a top 10 at the moment. |

Aw yiss, well done Jay! Lost a shit ton in the TT though, still got a lot of work to do for a good GC, hope he didn't waste too much energy today.

All of AMEX-Navigon's punchuers rode well on stage 4. Taborre is having a strong tour sitting 18th, but Boswell and Mehr-Wenige need to get in a breakaway or attack to make up time.

A little too much lost in the TT for my liking... it gets the difficult race we feared. The coming stages are suitable for little gains, Marcel can still improve by playing off his strengths.
