Oh my god another win. Great ride from Kudus there! First ever win, let's hope it's the first of many for us.
Aside from that 6th in the GC is a brilliant effort from Kwiatkowski in this field. A 1-2 in the youth competition and 3rd in the KotM also brings us plenty of points. Our crazy form continues, I can't believe how well we are doing at the moment.
Congrats to Bonsucro, Contador helping to pay back his hefty price tag with a big win here against all the best GC riders in the division. Thanks for the reports tsmoha. |

Irgh stupid Kiserlovski. Dropping down to 25th, making this even more a race to forget.
Very disappointed by the whole race. Was nice to see Sayar in the break at least.
Thanks for the reports tsmoha.

Could've been better, could've been worse. Great team efford after Cataldo crashed and the veteran kept his pace and nerves. Maillet was fun to watch, too. Seems he is on auto-attack as soon as it gets steepish.
Gratz to Bonsucro and many thanks to tsmoha for the great reports!

The Count's prediction came true! Our deal with ember giving us some great times.
What a mixture of emotions! What a final stage! That stage more than made up for that passive-ish queen stage, what tension. I was ecstatic when Contador got a gap back to Machado after the favourites all attacked. A bit disheartened when the two came back together inside the final kilometre, with Keizer looking to me like the GC was his. Then small gaps on the road turned into favourable gaps for us in a staggeringly close finish, massive win. Well done Spanish champ.
Our third stage race victory, first since Ruta America del Sur which must have been about a year ago now I guess.
Praise to everyone keeping the season alive with the regular commenting and massive praise to tsmoha for more great reporting. |

It wasn't the Top 5 GC goal we needed, but 9th for Valls and 16th for Txurruka is pretty good.
A nice final stage there for Txurruka who has been amazing so far for me.
2nd and 6th in KOM should bring a few points.
Another Teams Classification win as well also showing our depth even in the hardest of races.

Ardila Cano rescues something from this race on the last stage for Nutresa with a podium and jumping up on GC, but overall a very dissapointing race - first outing of the season where we are in single figures PPRD return . Particualrly disturbed by how poor Talansky performed pretty much throughout. The last stage in particular was pretty humiliating - most of his domestiques held on in the main peleton, but he himself was dropped behind. We obviously need to work on better communication with our new stage race leader, and he needs to bring his A game next outing!
Congrats to Bonsucro on Contador's victory and thanks to TSM for the comprehensive and rapid reporting.

So not the race I had hoped for but 4th for Brajko after two strong remaining final stages is good. Not too happy with Anton dropping 8 further places in GC, and now ending in a rather worthless 19th place instead of low-end top 10... the race started so well for him , but wow Intxausi and Abal, those make me sad.
So decent race in the end but nothing spectaluar at all. This was the race together with Ă–sterreich where I had the biggest expectations for Brajko and my entire team basically. And to lose out on the podium this way, even the win, is just massively dissapointing. Sorry for small rant.
Congrats on the huge win to The Rider, Conta really put on a great performance every single stage! and thanks for the nice reporting nonetheless here aswell Tshoma!

Well sometimes I just get a feeling, and I feel Contador will do something big at this race!
For me Weekly News quote, I had some thoughts about picking this feeling from you three days ago
Congrats to you in particular, but also Marquez, Keizer and Brajkovic did well afterall. Aegon surely not too huge with Aru amongst those, who gave up here. But looking at Intxausti (or Abal, who at least tried), it could have been worse.
Dunno what happend to those big guns. With a startlist packed with 79+ climbers, it may be, that once a premium climber gets dropped in a first key stage, he suffers more on the following stages. Definitely the case with TT-guys: once you are down the GC, you suck big time (no matter how easy a timetrial is). A thrillling fight for the podium here, but I feel sorry for RBC (and Buff) in this case. Fingers crossed for Intxausti to bounce back (to be fair, both ain't special on hills, but especially Intxausti lost in in the first mountain stage already).

Congratulations The Rider. It really was worth bringing Contador into the division.
All in all a superb race for us. Coming in with no CC hope and still coming away with two wins is pretty massive.

Tough field in the mountains and it was too much for Bibby, but great to see him fight hard for 8th overall

Wonderful race this was. A new overall favourite everyday and top-notch reporting making that possible.
2nd to Machado is obviously a very nice result. Contador is a worthy winner , so congrats to Bonsucro. Abal and Intxausti, on the other hand, were very poor throughout the whole event. I hope this doesn't carry on through other similar races
I'm a little afraid of the breakaway success rate though. All those stage wins being robbed from the favourites will certainly be worth something in the end of the season.
