This stage didn't go quite as planned for us. Van Stayen with a weak performance, dropping down quite a lot of places in the GC. Trofimov and Hagen is also coming very close in the points classification. I'm hoping a break will take the big points on the last stage, otherwise the green jersey will be tough to keep.

Great battle indeed, too bad Bakelants wasn't here to join the party. Looking at the races so far this season a breakaway will probably be allowed to ride away during the last stage, so I guess Trofimov has to settle for 2nd, which still is more than I expected! But you never know...

Wow, the last reported stage was just amazing, I was on the edge of my seat reading it! Sagan delivered again, just amazing ride by him. Even through it is a little bit of a pity that he was caught so close to the finish line, 3rd place and 10th overall now in GC is superb.
Nice to see EBH is finally delivering too.

Wow, first break in WT and we do something lol Nice one Barbin. Still pretty awful considering Froome was 3rd best equal puncheur here So much for being close to top 3
I'll keep true to my word, cya in a month.

10th GC is a shit overall result to be honest, and getting nothing except for a few points from Coppel besides that makes this race one to forget. I had hoped for 5th GC in this field, but OK. We can't have it all.
If just Spilak would have won Tirreno, this would have been OK. Now to fuck up in Luxembourg.

Meeeh! Didn't expect too many gaps here though. But Bobridge looked competitive, so another break (plus Barbin moving up to 8th) ain't exactly what I was hoping for. Huge final stage for Alak then.
Overall definitely a nice GC for Bobridge of course. Not much points gained through stages, but well, it's been a good performance from our captain at least. Still hoping to see a better working peloton next time. Today could/should have been a great day for a Hagen/Trofimov battle
Thanks for the quality reports and gratz to all, who did well.

Garby 112th in his first race of the season. It was hilly, not mountainous, and he worked well for the team, so nice ride.

Yeah - white jersey and a podium next to the demi gods. I always think that last stage into Nice is a bit crappy in real life. All the buggers now the climbs like the back of their hand so little surprises to be gained.
Makes me very happy to part with the ridiculous dough I paid for Skujins now - beating old man Schleck by a margin is welcome. He looked shaky there but got going at the right time to hold a nice GC position.

While Tenorio disappointed in Tirenno, fourth for Ulissi is a result i couldn't have hoped for beforehand, especially with the startlist here. I'm very happy with that result. If the break hadn't stayed way, Ulissi might have gotten the win, but overall, i'm still very happy with this race.
Thanks for the reports!

Another really nice stage by Sagan, his high ACC and DH ratings likely really helped him again! Too bad Barbin was able to jump over Sagan by 1 second, but I would gladly take 9th place before the race, so I am really happy.

Nice race in terms of excitement. Very close GC, good mountain stages mixed with breakaways and sprinters days.
Reasonable sprinting by Kennaugh - a 2nd and 3rd spot is definitely acceptable. Vincent Jerome also did well on one stage, but quite disappointing to miss the break on the last two stages when you've got absolutely nothing to do in the bunch anyway |

We had a top 3 goal here, and the parcours definitely didn't suit Rein, so I'm reasonably happy with 5th here.
Still, one down, four more goals to fail
